Introduction to TUYA and SmartLife
The TUYA and SmartLife applications enable smart building control, allowing users to query smart building control statuses, issue commands, and create automations and scenes.
Getting Started: Account Setup
Upon first launch, users can log in with their existing account details or create a new account. The process involves selecting a region and requesting identification via email address, not phone number.
Multiple household members can simultaneously use the same user account across different devices.
Adding New Devices
New devices can be added to your account by tapping the '+' sign.
It is not always necessary to specify the type of new device; it is sufficient to select it as a general Wi-Fi device, as the application will perform the precise identification.
Zigbee devices are added via a Zigbee HUB or coordinator, as detailed on subsequent pages.
Device Pairing and Wi-Fi Connection
To pair a device, it must first be put into a RESET/Pairing mode, indicated by blinking. This varies by device; it can be achieved via a reset button, long-pressing a button, or by turning the device on and off 5 times consecutively. Please refer to the user manual included with the device.
Enter the SSID and password of the Wi-Fi network you wish to use. Ensure that only networks broadcasting on the 2.4GHz frequency can be used.

Device Management and Organization
The devices found should be assigned to specific rooms, and they can also be renamed for easier identification.
[Visual Description: App screens show a list of successfully added devices, including a "Zigbee Wireless Gate" and "Zigbee Coordinator". Options to rename devices are visible.]
Zigbee devices must be added to the Zigbee HUB/coordinator. This is accessed by clicking on the HUB in the TUYA/SmartLife device list.
[Visual Description: A screenshot displays the "Zigbee Coordinator" details, showing online devices and a list of added devices like "Zigbee Smart Thermostat", "Motion Sensor", "PIR motion sensor", "Water leak sensor", "Black hidden Door Sensor", "Siren", and "Gas Alarm".]
Integration and Automation
Once added, Zigbee devices appear in the complete TUYA/SmartLife device list alongside devices connected via other methods (Wi-Fi, BT...). By opening any of them, users can control them, adjust their parameters, or create automations under the SMART tab.
