AIR-CONDITIONER REMOTE CONTROLLER INSTRUCTIONS

Precautions

Note:

  1. This is a universal remote controller with all function buttons. Some buttons may not function depending on your specific air conditioner model. Pressing a non-functional button will yield no response.
  2. HEAT and ELE.H functions are not available for single cool models.

Buttons Description

  1. ON/OFF Button

    Press this button to turn the unit on or off.

  2. MODE Button

    Press this button to select the operation mode: AUTO → COOL → DRY → HEAT → FAN. Note: Heat mode is not available for single cool models. Refer to 'Usage for Mode' for detailed descriptions.

  3. SPEED Button

    Press this button to select fan speed: Silence → Low → Mid-Low → Mid → Mid-High → High → Turbo → Auto. Note: 'Auto' is not available in fan mode. 'Turbo' is not available in auto mode. The SPEED button is forced to low speed in dry mode.

  4. TIMER Button

    When the air conditioner is on or off, press this button to enter timer function setting. The '⏰' icon and 'OFF (ON)' character will light up, and the timer time will flash. Use the '△(+)' and '▽(-)' buttons to set the desired hours (0.5 to 24 hours). Press 'TIMER' again to confirm. Once confirmed, the '⏰' icon and 'OFF (ON)' character will stop flashing and remain lit. The screen will display the corresponding mode, temperature, speed, and swing settings, which can all be adjusted. If the timer is not yet active, pressing 'ON/OFF' will directly turn the unit on/off and cancel the timer. If 'TIMER' is not pressed within 10 seconds of flashing, the setting will exit. Pressing 'TIMER' again after confirmation will cancel the timer function.

  5. SOFT Button

    The soft function prevents direct cold air blow. Only in cool mode and when the unit is on, press 'SOFT' to activate or deactivate. When active, up/down or rated swing turns off, and the swing icon disappears. Pressing 'SOFT', 'OFF', 'U/D SWING', or switching mode will cancel the soft function.

  6. L/R SWING Button

    When the unit is on or off (with timer active), press this button to activate left/right swing. Press again to turn off. The '↔' icon will indicate or cancel.

  7. U/D SWING Button

    When the unit is on or off (with timer active), press this button to activate up/down swing. Press again to turn off. The '↕' icon will indicate or cancel. Note: Press and hold 'U/D SWING' for 3 seconds to shift to 'Rated swinging' function, then press again to select positions. To exit 'Rated swinging', press and hold 'U/D SWING' for 3 seconds or reinstall batteries. The '↕' icon will disappear, and the button resumes its original function.

  8. + & - Button

    Each press of '+' or '-' increases or decreases the temperature setting by 1°C (1°F). Temperature range: 16°C (60°F) ~ 32°C (90°F). Note: Temperature cannot be set in auto or fan mode.

  9. MENU & OK Button

    Press 'MENU' to enter function selection mode. Use '△(+)', '▽(-)', '(L/R SWING)', and '▷(U/D SWING)' buttons to choose a function. Press 'OK' to activate. In function selection mode, the selected character will flash.

  10. ECO function

    When the unit is on and in cool mode, press 'MENU', then navigate to 'ECO' using '△(+)', '▽(-)', '(L/R SWING)', and '▷(U/D SWING)'. The 'ECO' character will blink. Press 'OK' to activate/deactivate. In cool mode, variable frequency air conditioners enter ECO function for lowest electricity consumption, exiting automatically after 8 hours. Not available on fixed frequency air conditioners. Changing modes or turning off the air conditioner cancels ECO function automatically. Note: Electricity consumption is affected by ambient temperature and house structure. Use caution with ECO function if ambient temperature is high or the house has a large area.

  11. SLEEP function

    When the unit is on, press 'MENU', then navigate to 'SLEEP'. The 'SLEEP' character will blink. Press 'OK' to activate/deactivate. The unit will exit this function after 10 hours of continuous operation and restore to its previous status. Note: Sleep function cannot be activated in fan or auto mode.

  12. DISPLAY function

    Press 'MENU', then navigate to 'DISPLAY'. The 'DISPLAY' character will blink. Press 'OK' to activate/deactivate the screen display function.

  13. ICLEAN function

    The unit automatically cleans dust on the evaporator and dries moisture. When the air conditioner is off, press 'MENU', then navigate to 'ICLEAN'. The 'ICLEAN' character will blink. Press 'OK' to activate/deactivate. The cleaning function automatically closes after 30 minutes. During cleaning, pressing 'ON/OFF' will turn the unit on immediately.

  14. HEALTH function

    When the unit is on or off (with timer active), press 'MENU', then navigate to 'HEALTH'. The 'HEALTH' character will blink. Press 'OK' to activate/deactivate. Note: The HEALTH function is automatically cancelled when the air conditioner is turned off.

  15. ELE.H function

    When the unit is on and in HEAT mode, press 'MENU', then navigate to 'ELE.H'. The 'ELE.H' character will blink. Press 'OK' to activate/deactivate auxiliary heating. The unit will activate auxiliary heating automatically based on ambient temperature to accelerate heating.

  16. ANTI-F function

    The ANTI-F function continues to operate for about 3 minutes to dry moisture on the evaporator, preventing bacteria, fungus, and strange smells. When the unit is off, press 'MENU', then navigate to 'Anti-F'. The 'Anti-F' character will blink. Press 'OK' to activate/deactivate.

  17. I-FEEL function

    When the unit is on, press 'MENU', then navigate to 'I-FEEL'. The 'I-FEEL' character will blink. Press 'OK' to activate/deactivate. The 'I-FEEL' function and the '℃' icon will display (or disappear). After setting, the temperature area displays the touch temperature, refreshed every 5 seconds. Pressing 'OFF' will cancel the I-FEEL function and the '℃' icon.

  18. °C/°F function

    Temperature is displayed in Celsius by default. Press '+' and '-' buttons simultaneously for over 3 seconds to switch between '°C' or '°F'.

  19. Child-lock function

    Press 'SPEED' and 'SOFT' buttons simultaneously and hold for at least 3 seconds to activate or deactivate child-lock. When activated, the remote control will indicate the '?' icon.

  20. 8°C heating function

    Only in heating mode and in power-on state, press 'MODE' and '+' buttons simultaneously for over 3 seconds to turn on or off the 8°C heating function. After turning on: Pressing 'HEAT', switching mode, or selecting sleep function will exit 8°C heating. 'SPEED', '+', '-' buttons are non-effective. Turning the unit off and on again retains 8°C heating. 'MENU' button and ELE.H function are not selectable.

  21. Temperature setting function

    When the unit is off, press 'MODE' and 'SOFT' buttons simultaneously for over 10 seconds to enter maximum and minimum temperature setting function. The range is 16°C (60°F) ~ 32°C (90°F). Upon entering, the screen displays the maximum setting value (32°C/90°F) and 'H' will flash. Use '+' or '-' to adjust, then press 'Mode' to confirm. The screen then displays the minimum temperature setting value and 'L' will flash. Use '+' or '-' to adjust, then press 'Mode' to confirm. The setting is complete. When setting minimum temperature, pressing 'MODE' and 'SOFT' buttons simultaneously for over 10 seconds will switch to maximum temperature. Reset after battery replacement.

  22. Buzzer silence function

    Press 'L/R SWING' and 'MODE' buttons simultaneously and hold for 3 seconds to activate or deactivate the buzzer silence function.

  23. Power Limit function

    When the unit is on and in cool or heat mode, press and hold the 'Mode' button for 5 seconds to enter power limit function. The temperature area will display and flash 'C1'. If no operation, it confirms automatically after 5 seconds. Press 'Mode' to adjust this function; mode cannot be switched. The switch types are 'C1-C2-C3-set temperature (without limiting power)'. After each adjustment, 'Cx' (C1/C2/C3) flashes continuously for 5 seconds then confirms. Under power limit, 'I-FEEL', 'ECO', and '8°C heating' functions are invalid. When set temperature is adjusted, it displays constantly for 5 seconds, then 'Cx' display restores. Turn off the unit and switch mode to exit power limit function.

Usage for Mode

Auto operation mode

  1. Press the 'ON/OFF' button to start the air conditioner.
  2. Press the 'MODE' button to select auto operation mode.
  3. Press the 'SPEED' button to select fan speed from Silence, Low, Mid-Low, Mid, Mid-High, High, Auto.
  4. Press the 'ON/OFF' button again to stop the air conditioner.

Note: In auto mode, temperature setting is non-effective.

Cool/Heat operation mode

  1. Press the 'ON/OFF' button to start the air conditioner.
  2. Press the 'MODE' button to select cool or heat operation mode.
  3. Press the '+' or '-' button to set temperature from 16°C (60°F) to 32°C (90°F). The display changes with each press.
  4. Press the 'SPEED' button to select fan speed from Silence, Low, Mid-Low, Mid, Mid-High, High, Turbo, Auto.
  5. Press the 'ON/OFF' button again to stop the air conditioner.

Note: Cold wind type models do not have heating function.

Dry operation mode

  1. Press the 'ON/OFF' button to start the air conditioner.
  2. Press the 'MODE' button to select dry operation mode.
  3. Press the '+' or '-' button to set temperature from 16°C (60°F) to 32°C (90°F). The display changes with each press.
  4. Press the 'ON/OFF' button again to stop the air conditioner.

Note: In dry mode, speed setting is non-effective.

Fan operation mode

  1. Press the 'ON/OFF' button to start the air conditioner.
  2. Press the 'MODE' button to select fan operation mode.
  3. Press the 'SPEED' button to select fan speed from Silence, Low, Mid-Low, Mid, Mid-High, High, Turbo.
  4. Press the 'ON/OFF' button again to stop the air conditioner.

Note: In fan mode, temperature setting is non-effective.

Usage

Fix batteries

Illustrations showing battery installation steps: 1. Sliding the battery cover open. 2. Inserting two 7# batteries, ensuring correct polarity (+ & -). 3. Sliding the battery cover back into place.

  1. Slide to open the battery cover in the direction indicated by the arrowhead.
  2. Insert two brand new batteries (7#), ensuring correct electric pole positioning (+ & -).
  3. Replace the battery cover.
