Device Overview

The TaoTronics TT-BA08 features the following ports and controls:

• TX/RX Mode Switch: Allows switching between transmitter (TX) and receiver (RX) modes.
• Power Button: Used for turning the device on/off and initiating pairing.
• Volume +/- Buttons: Control volume and skip tracks (in RX mode).
• LED Indicator: Provides status information (charging, pairing, battery level).
• Charging Port: Micro USB port for charging the device.
• 3.5mm Audio Port: For audio input/output.

Control Functions

How to Use

Charging

1. Use a micro USB cable and connect the adapter to any active USB port.
2. The LED indicator will turn red when charging and automatically turn off when fully charged.

Note: It is recommended to charge the unit for at least 2 hours before first use.

Pairing in TX Mode

1. Set the TT-BA08 to TX mode and connect it to your non-Bluetooth audio transmitting device.
2. Place your Bluetooth audio receiving device (earphones/speakers) within a 3 feet / 1 meter range and set it to pairing mode.
3. Turn on the TT-BA08 and tap the power button twice to enter pairing mode. Pairing will complete in approximately 10 seconds.

Pairing in RX Mode

1. Set the TT-BA08 to RX mode and connect it to your non-Bluetooth audio receiving device.
2. Turn on the TT-BA08 and tap the power button twice to enter pairing mode.
3. Activate the Bluetooth function on your transmitting device (phone/tablet) and search for nearby Bluetooth devices.
4. Find "TaoTronics TT-BA08" in the search results and tap to connect. The LED indicator will turn solid blue upon connection.

Note: The adapter enters pairing mode automatically on first power-on. Mode switches clear pairing memory and initiate pairing automatically on subsequent power-ons. The adapter can remember previously paired devices and attempt to pair automatically.

Pairing with Two Devices Simultaneously

In TX Mode:

1. Pair the TT-BA08 with your first device as described in the "Pairing" section.
2. Turn off the Bluetooth function on your first device, then press the Power Button twice to pair with your second device.
3. Turn on the Bluetooth function on your first device. The second device will connect automatically in approximately 10 seconds.

Note: Both devices can play music simultaneously. The adapter will automatically re-pair when powered on.

In RX Mode:

1. Pair the TT-BA08 with your first device as described in the "Pairing" section. Disable the Bluetooth function on your first device. Press the Power Button twice to pair with your second device.
2. Turn on the Bluetooth of the first device. The TT-BA08 will now be successfully paired with both devices.

Note: Only one device can play music at a time. You must stop music on one device to play from the other. The adapter will automatically re-pair when powered on.

Troubleshooting

If the TT-BA08 cannot pair with your Bluetooth device, turn the device off for 5 seconds, switch from RX to TX mode, turn it off again for 5 seconds, and then switch back to RX mode.
