Installation
Wall Mount Installation
For wall mounting, ensure the mounting holes on the back of the TV are compatible with your chosen wall mount. The standard VESA mounting pattern is 100mm x 100mm (3.95" x 3.95"). Ensure the wall mount is securely attached to the wall according to its instructions.

TV Bracket Assembly

Panel and Port Identification
Top Panel
- (IR) Infrared Receiver: Receives IR signals from the remote control.
- LED Indicator: Displays the TV's status.
- Indicator on (Red): Standby mode.
- Indicator on (Green): Power on mode.
- Control Buttons:
- VOL +/-: Adjust volume.
- CH +/-: Select channels.
- MENU: Access the main menu.
- SOURCE: Select external signal input.
Side Panel (Left Side)
- EARPHONE: For connecting headphones.
- COAXIAL: Digital Audio Output.
Back Panel
- COAXIAL: Digital Audio Output.
- AV INPUT (VIDEO/Y, Pb, Pr): Connect to the composite terminal of a DVD/VCR or other equipment.
- Service Port: For upgrade use.
- HDMI IN: Connect to HDMI output of DVD players, game consoles, or other equipment.
- VGA IN: Connect to VGA output of a computer.
- PC AUDIO IN: Connect to the audio output of a computer.
- YPbPr: Component video input.
- ANT 75Ω: Connect to ANT or cable source.
- EARPHONE: Earphone output.
- AUDIO OUTPUT (Right/Left): Audio output for external speakers.
Remote Controller
The remote control allows you to operate all functions of the TV.
- Power ⏻: Set your TV to power on or standby mode.
- MUTE: Press to mute the sound. Press again or press VOL+ to unmute.
- 0-9: Press 0-9 to select a TV channel directly.
- - : Use for multi-program channel selection (e.g., 2-1) or return to the previous channel.
- Return [return-arrow]: Return to the previous channel viewed.
- P.MODE: Cycle through different picture settings.
- SLEEP: Set a timer for the TV to turn off automatically.
- S.MODE: Cycle through different sound settings.
- MENU [menu-button]: Navigate the on-screen menus.
- SOURCE [source-button]: Cycle through input sources (TV, AV, YPBPR, HDMI1, HDMI2, HDMI3, PC).
- THUMBSTICK ( [up-arrow] / [down-arrow] / [left-arrow] / [right-arrow] / ENTER [enter-key]): Navigate menus and adjust settings.
- EXIT [exit-key]: Exit menus or cancel functions.
- DISPLAY: Show source and channel information.
- MTS: Select audio mode (Stereo, Mono, SAP).
- V +/-: Increase or decrease sound level.
- CH +/-: Scan through or select channels.
- AUTO: Automatically adjust the PC image rate.
- FAV: Set or cancel a favorite channel.
- FAV+: Move down the favorite program list.
- FAV-: Move up the favorite program list.
- CC: Display closed captions.
- ZOOM: Select display mode.
Battery Installation
- Open the battery compartment cover on the back side.
- Insert two 1.5V AAA type batteries with correct polarity.
- Close the battery compartment cover.
Universal Remote Control Code: 007F (for compatibility with universal remotes, not included).
Setup Wizard
The Setup Wizard guides you through the initial TV configuration.
- Connect Antenna and Power: Connect an RF cable from the TV's "RF-In" to your TV Aerial socket. Connect the power cord.
- Select TV Configuration: Choose your preferred TV configuration settings.
- Select Time:
- Use [left-arrow]/[right-arrow] buttons to select time zone, daylight saving time, and time format.
- Use [up-arrow]/[down-arrow] buttons to adjust values.
- Press [enter-key] to proceed to the next step.
- Auto Scan:
- Press [left-arrow]/[right-arrow] to select the antenna type.
- Press [enter-key] to start the auto scan for channels.
Input Sources & Main Menu Operation
Select Input Source
Press the INPUT [source-button] button to display the input source list. Use [left-arrow]/[right-arrow] or INPUT buttons to select the desired source (TV, AV, Component, HDMI 1, HDMI 2, HDMI 3, PC). Press ENTER [enter-key] to confirm.
Main Menu Operation
Press the MENU [menu-button] button to display the main menu or return to the previous menu. Use [left-arrow]/[right-arrow] to highlight a menu icon, and press ENTER [enter-key] to select. Press MENU [menu-button] again to exit or go back to the parent menu.
Picture Menu
Access the Picture Menu via the Main Menu to adjust visual settings.
Navigate using [left-arrow]/[right-arrow] to select options like Picture Mode, Brightness, Contrast, Color, Tint, Sharpness, Color Temperature, or Advanced Settings. Press ENTER [enter-key] to enter a sub-menu or adjust a setting. Press MENU [menu-button] to exit.
Picture Mode
Choose a picture mode for optimal viewing:
- Standard: Produces a highly defined image in a normally lit room.
- Dynamic: Produces a highly defined image in a brightly lit room.
- Soft: Produces a highly defined image in a soft lit room.
- User: Allows customization of picture settings.
- Power saving: Reduces power consumption.
Note: Brightness, Contrast, Color, Tint, and Sharpness are adjustable only in User mode.
Picture Adjustments
- Brightness: Adjusts the overall lightness/darkness of the picture.
- Contrast: Adjusts the highlight intensity of the picture.
- Color: Adjusts the saturation of colors.
- Tint: Adjusts the hue (Red/Green balance) of the picture.
- Sharpness: Adjusts the detail and edge definition in the picture.
- Color Temperature: Adjusts the color warmth or coolness.
- Normal: Increases the balance of colors.
- Warm: Increases the red tone.
- Cool: Increases the blue tone.
Advanced Settings
Fine-tune advanced video features:
- Aspect Ratio: Adjust how the picture fills the screen.
- Normal: Automatically adjusts based on TV size and program.
- Wide: For watching widescreen (16:9) content.
- Zoom: Expands the image to fill the screen; top and bottom may be cut off.
- Cinema: Stretches image at edges while keeping the center clear.
- Noise Reduction: Reduces video noise. Options: Off, Low, Medium, High, Auto.
- Dynamic Contrast: Automatically adjusts picture detail and brightness (On/Off).
- HDMI Mode: Select Video or Graphic mode (Only available in HDMI input).
Sound Menu
Access the Sound Menu via the Main Menu to adjust audio settings.
Navigate using [left-arrow]/[right-arrow] to select options like Sound Mode, Bass, Treble, Balance, MTS, Audio Language, Digital Audio Output, Surround Sound, or AVL. Press ENTER [enter-key] to enter a sub-menu or adjust a setting. Press MENU [menu-button] to exit.
Sound Mode
Select a sound mode for ideal audio:
- Standard: Produces balanced sound.
- Music: Preserves original sound, good for music programs.
- Movie: Enhances treble and bass for a rich sound.
- Sports: Enhances vocals for TV audio.
- User: Allows customization of audio settings.
Note: Bass and Treble are adjustable only in User mode.
Sound Adjustments
- Bass: Adjusts lower-pitched sounds.
- Treble: Adjusts higher-pitched sounds.
- Balance: Adjusts the sound balance between left and right speakers.
- MTS: Configures multi-track sound (Mono, Stereo, SAP). Only available in ATV.
- Audio Language: Select supported language for digital channels (English, French, Spanish). Only available in DTV.
- Digital Audio Output: Send digital audio to external systems (PCM, Raw, Off).
- Surround Sound: Enable or disable surround sound (On/Off).
- AVL (Auto Volume Leveling): Sets automatic volume control to reduce volume differences between channels/programs (On/Off).
Time Menu
Access the Time Menu via the Main Menu to manage time-related settings.
Navigate using [left-arrow]/[right-arrow] to select options like Sleep Timer, Time Zone, Daylight Saving Time, Time Format, Auto Clock, or Clock. Press ENTER [enter-key] to enter a sub-menu or adjust a setting. Press MENU [menu-button] to exit.
- Sleep Timer: Set the TV to turn off automatically (Off, 5min, 10min, 15min, 30min, 60min, 90min, 120min, 180min, 240min).
- Time Zone: Select your local time zone (e.g., Eastern, Central, Mountain, Pacific, Alaska, Hawaii, Samoa, Newfoundland, Atlantic).
- Daylight Saving Time: Enable or disable DST (On/Off).
- Time Format: Select 12-hour or 24-hour format.
- Auto Clock: Synchronize the display automatically (On/Off). Only available in DTV.
- Clock: Manually set the current time.
Setup Menu
Access the Setup Menu via the Main Menu for system configuration.
Navigate using [left-arrow]/[right-arrow] to select options like Menu Language, Transparent, OSD Timeout, Closed Caption, Over Scan, Input Label, Other Settings, Restore Default, or Setup Wizard. Press ENTER [enter-key] to enter a sub-menu or adjust a setting. Press MENU [menu-button] to exit.
- Menu Language: Select the OSD menu language (Default: English, Français).
- Transparent: Adjust the transparency of the OSD menu (0%, 25%, 50%, 75%, 100%).
- OSD Timeout: Adjust the duration the OSD menu is displayed (5 Sec., 15 Sec., 30 Sec., 45 Sec., 60 Sec.).
- Closed Caption: Adjust Closed Captioning settings. Only available under TV and AV source. Press ENTER [enter-key] to enter. (See details below).
- Over Scan: Enable or disable overscan (On/Off). Only available for 1080i/720p/1080p in DTV/Component/HDMI. Fixed On for ATV/AV, fixed Off for PC/USB.
- Input Labels: Create custom labels for connected devices.
- Other Settings: Configure audio-only mode, no signal power off, and no operation power off.
- Blue Screen: Select transition type when changing channels (On/Off).
- Audio Only: Play audio with the picture turned off. The screen will be dark; press any key to exit. (On/Off).
- Restore Default: Reset TV to factory default settings.
- Setup Wizard: Re-run the initial setup (Refer to pages 12-13).
Closed Caption (CC)
Configure Closed Captioning for accessibility:
- CC Mode: Turn Closed Captioning on/off (CC Off, CC On, CC OnMute).
- Analog CC: Set Closed Captioning for analog programs (CC1, CC2, CC3, CC4, TEXT1, TEXT2, TEXT3, TEXT4).
- Digital CC: Set Closed Captioning for digital programs (Off, Service1, Service2, Service3, Service4, Service5, Service6).
- Option (Digital CC Settings):
- Mode: Set the look of digital CC (Default/Custom).
- Font Style: Select font style (Default, Font 0-7).
- Font Size: Adjust font size (Default, Normal, Large, Small).
- Font Edge Style: Adjust the edge of the CC box (Default, None, Raised, Depressed, Uniform, Left Shadow, Right Shadow).
- Font Edge Color: Set the color of the CC box edge.
- FG Color: Set the color of the CC font.
- BG Color: Set the background color for CC.
- FG Opacity: Adjust the transparency of the CC font.
- BG Opacity: Adjust the transparency of the CC background.
Lock Menu
Access the Lock Menu via the Main Menu to manage parental controls and system locks.
Navigate using [left-arrow]/[right-arrow] to select options like Change Password, System Lock, Input Block, US Rating, Canada Rating, RRT Setting, Reset RRT, or Hotel Menu. Press ENTER [enter-key] to enter a sub-menu or adjust a setting. Press MENU [menu-button] to exit.
Default password: 0000. Contact service if forgotten.
- Change Password: Set a new 4-digit password.
- System Lock: Lock or unlock the buttons on the TV (Off/On).
- Input Block: Block or unblock input sources (Unblock/Block).
- US Rating: Restrict programs by US ratings (TV and MPAA). Only available when System Lock is On. (See details below).
- Canada Rating: Restrict programs by Canadian ratings (English and French). Only available when System Lock is On. (See details below).
- RRT Setting: Display advanced V-Chip rating table for digital channels.
- Reset RRT: Reset the RRT to default.
- Hotel Menu: Access hotel-specific settings. (See details below).
US Rating System
The US rating system includes TV and MPAA ratings:
TV Ratings:
- TV-Y: General audience.
- TV-Y7: Directed to older children.
- TV-G: General audience.
- TV-PG: Parental guidance suggested.
- TV-14: Parents strongly cautioned.
- TV-MA: Adults only.
Content ratings (e.g., V for Violence, S for Sex, L for Language) may be appended. Locking a higher level automatically locks lower levels.
MPAA Ratings:
- G: General audience.
- PG: Parental guidance suggested.
- PG-13: Parents strongly cautioned.
- R: Restricted.
- NC-17: No one 17 and under admitted.
- X: Adult audience only.
Canada Rating System
The Canadian rating system includes English and French options:
Canada English Ratings:
- Off: News and sports.
- C: Children.
- C8+: Children 8 years and older.
- G: General programming.
- PG: Parental guidance.
- 14+: Viewers 14 and older.
- 18+: Adult programming.
Canada French Ratings:
- Off: News and sports.
- 8 ans+: Not recommended for children under age 8.
- G: General.
- 13 ans+: Not recommended for children under age 13.
- 16 ans+: Not recommended for children under age 16.
- 18 ans+: Restricted to adults.
Hotel Menu
Access Hotel Menu settings for hospitality environments.
Navigate using [left-arrow]/[right-arrow] to select options. Press ENTER [enter-key] to enter a sub-menu or adjust a setting. Press MENU [menu-button] to exit.
- Hotel Mode: Enable or disable Hotel Mode (On/Off). Settings below only work when Hotel Mode is On.
- Boot Setting:
- Picture Mode: Set default picture mode (Standard, Dynamic, Soft, User).
- Default Volume: Set the default volume when turning on the TV (default is 20).
- Max Volume: Set the maximum adjustable volume.
- Boot Source: Set the default input source when turning on the TV.
- Boot Channel: Enable or disable booting to a specific channel (On/Off).
- Channel Select: Select default channels after channel searching.
- Hotel Lock: Lock specific functions (Tuner, Key Pad, Menu). Tuner Lock prevents channel changes.
- Power Save: Set a timer for automatic TV turn-off (60Min, 120Min, 180Min, 240Min, Off).
- TV to USB: Backup data to USB.
- USB to TV: Restore data from USB.
- Reset Hotel Setting: Recall default settings for the Hotel menu.

Channel Menu
Access the Channel Menu via the Main Menu to manage TV channels.
Navigate using [left-arrow]/[right-arrow] to select options like Air/Cable, Auto Scan, Favorite, Channel List, Show/Hide, Channel Number, or Channel Label. Press ENTER [enter-key] to enter a sub-menu or adjust a setting. Press MENU [menu-button] to exit.
- Air/Cable: Select signal type (Air/Cable).
- Auto Scan: Automatically search for available channels.
- Favorites: Add channels to create a favorite list.
- Channel List: Display the list of all tuned programs.
- Show/Hide: Show or hide channels in the program list.
- Channel Number: Display or adjust channel numbering.
- Channel Label: Create custom labels (up to 7 characters) for channels.
PC Menu
Connect a PC to the TV using the VGA or HDMI input and select the PC source.
Access the PC Menu via the Main Menu (when PC source is selected) to adjust picture settings for PC display.
Navigate using [left-arrow]/[right-arrow] to select options like H-Pos, V-Pos, Clock, Phase, or Auto. Press ENTER [enter-key] to enter a sub-menu or adjust a setting. Press MENU [menu-button] to exit.
- H-Pos: Adjust the horizontal position of the picture.
- V-Pos: Adjust the vertical position of the picture.
- Clock: Adjust the picture timing (related to vertical lines).
- Phase: Adjust horizontal interfering lines for clarity.
- Auto: Automatically adjust the screen to the optimal picture position.
Notes on PC Mode Settings
The following settings are invalid or unavailable in PC mode:
- Picture Menu: Color, Tint, Sharpness, Noise Reduction, Dynamic Contrast, HDMI Mode.
- Sound Menu: MTS, Audio Language.
- Time Menu: Auto Clock.
- Setup Menu: Closed Caption.
- Lock Menu: US Rating, Canada Rating, RRT Setting, Reset RRT.
- Channel Menu: PC mode does not have a Channel menu.
