Customer Criteria for Food Waste Disposer
- 1. Work Surface: Any non-wood work surface must have a pre-drilled hole (33mm for an air switch).
- 2. Power Socket: A 13 amp power socket must be within 600mm of the installation area and accessible.
- 3. Product Space: Ensure adequate space for the product (check website for dimensions).
- 4. Sink Hole: The sink hole must be 90mm in diameter.
- 5. Cupboard Shelf: You may lose the shelf in the cupboard to accommodate the disposer.
- 6. Sink Thickness: Sinks greater than 19mm thick will require an extended flange. This is available on the InSinkErator online shop.
- 7. Sink Overflow: The sink overflow must be external with a pipe connection.
- 8. Waste Pipe Connection: The distance from the bottom of the sink to the centre of the waste pipe must be a minimum of 280mm or 355mm with batch feed.

The appliance will be connected to existing services only. Should a hole not be pre-drilled in any work surface other than wood, installation will not be possible. If the criteria above has not been met on the arrival of the service agent, the customer will have to pay a call out charge of £65 to the service agent.
