Operation Guide: Setup
Power Supply Connection
Connect the feeder using either the included power adapter via the Type-C port or by inserting a battery module into the host base. Both methods can be used simultaneously. Using the external power supply is recommended when configuring the network connection.
Set Up the Grain Distribution Mechanism
- Ensure the tank partition is removed. Align the grain distribution mechanism with the unlocking position (indicated by a symbol) and rotate it to the locking position.
- Rotate the silicone gel of the grain distribution mechanism until the "HERE" sign aligns with the positioning arrows.
- Reinstall the grain tank partition.
Note: Always remove the tank partition before disassembling or assembling the grain distribution mechanism.
Set Up the Feeder Base and Food Bowl
- Place the feeder base on a level surface.
- Align the food tank with the feeder base and press down until a clicking sound is heard, indicating it is secured.
- Place the stainless steel bowl into the bowl holder and attach the bowl holder to the notch on the base until a clicking sound is heard.
Ensure there is no pet food in the food tank before proceeding with setup.
Operation Guide: Adding Pet Food
- Open the Lid: Pinch the lid open button with two fingers and lift upwards.
- Place the Lid: When adding food, the lid can be hung on the food tank.
- Put in Desiccant: Open the desiccant box, place the desiccant evenly inside, and close the box.
- Place the Tank Partition:
- Depending on your needs, use the entire tank for a single type of dry pet food or insert the tank partition to create dual compartments for two types of dry pet food.
- Add dry pet food, ensuring it does not exceed the designated "Max Line" on the tank partition or food tank.
- Close the lid.
Recommended kibble size: Less than 18mm / 0.72 inches in diameter.
Operation Guide: Buttons
Manual Feeding
The feeder features Left (L) and Right (R) buttons for manual feeding:
- L Button: Dispenses food from the left compartment.
- R Button: Dispenses food from the right compartment.
Ensure there is food in the tank before manual feeding. A typical portion is approximately 10g for cat food (7mm diameter) and 7g for dog food (15mm diameter). Food weight may vary slightly based on shape and density.
Child Lock Function
The "child lock function" can be activated or deactivated via the companion app. Alternatively, press and hold both the L and R buttons for 3 seconds to toggle this function. The feeder automatically activates the child lock if there is no operation for 30 seconds.
Reset Button
To reset the feeder to factory settings, press and hold the Reset Button located on the back of the feeder base for 5 seconds until a beep sound is heard. The feeder will then be ready for re-connection.

Troubleshooting
Connectivity and Responsiveness
Problem | Solution |
---|---|
Can't connect the feeder to WiFi. | 1. Keep the feeder and phone close to your router, ensuring a good network signal. The ideal distance is within 6 meters / 19.7 ft without obstacles and walls. 2. Plug in the power cord, reset, or restart the feeder. 3. Try adding the feeder again following the App instructions. |
I press the buttons but they don't respond. | Press and hold both L and R buttons for 3 seconds to unlock the buttons. |
Dispensing and Recording Issues
Problem | Solution |
---|---|
The food won't come out. | 1. Ensure there is food in the tank and the kibble size is within 2-18mm / 0.08-0.7in diameter. 2. Check if the food tank or grain distribution mechanism is blocked. 3. Check if the anti-clog detector at the food outlet is dirty or blocked. 4. Verify the power adapter is connected or the battery level is sufficient. |
The portion amount is not the same. | After approximately 3 feedings, the portion amounts should become consistent. |
Pet has eaten but there is no eating record in App. | 1. Check if the eating detection feature is enabled in the App. 2. If the eating time is too short (less than 15s) or too long (more than 2min), the algorithm may filter the record. 3. If the time gap between two meals is too small (less than 2min), the algorithm may filter the record. 4. If the pet's range of motion during eating is too slight, the radar may not detect it. 5. There might be a delay of up to 2 minutes between eating completion and the record appearing in the App. |
Pet has not eaten but there is an eating record in App. | Check if a pet or human is near the feeder, potentially causing the radar to misjudge. Also, check if other living beings (e.g., rats) are present around the feeder and affecting the radar. |
Battery life does not last long enough. | Please check the following: 1. The feeding plan is heavier than average. 2. The App is opened too frequently (more than 3 times per day). 3. Network stability is poor, leading to increased power consumption for frequent reconnections. 4. There is a food block issue, causing the feeder to use extra power for adjustments. 5. Ensure the battery is fully charged. |
