The earphones consist of two earbuds and a charging case. Each earbud features an indicator light, a touch area, a secondary microphone, and a primary microphone. The charging case has a charging port and an indicator light.

Setup
Turning On
The earphones will turn on automatically when you open the charging case. For first-time use, place the earphones in the charging case and close the lid to activate them.
Sleep Mode
Place the earphones back into the charging case and close the lid. The earphones will automatically turn off and enter sleep mode.
Wearing the Earphones
Remove the earphones from the charging case and wear them according to the left (L) and right (R) indicators.
Place earphones back into the charging case after use. This will extend their lifespan and help prevent loss or misplacement.
Connection
Connecting Earphones to a Device
- Place the earphones in the charging case. Press and hold the touch area on the earphones for 3 seconds. The earphone indicator will flash white, indicating they are waiting for connection.
- Enable Bluetooth on your device, then find and connect to "Mi True Wireless Earphones 2 Basic". Enter "0000" if a password is required.
Connecting Earphones to a Mi Phone
Place the earphones in the charging case and close the lid. Ensure Bluetooth is enabled on your Mi phone. Bring your phone close to the charging case, then open the case lid. Follow the on-screen instructions on the phone to connect the earphones.
If your device is out of the earphone's wireless range or Bluetooth is disabled, the earphones will automatically enter pairing mode. If the earphones do not connect to any device within five minutes, they will enter sleep mode.

Charging the Earphones
The earphones will automatically start charging when placed in the charging case.
Charging the Charging Case
The charging case indicator light is white during charging and turns off when fully charged.
Checking Battery Level
Checking Earphone Battery Level
After connecting to a phone, you can check the earphone battery level on the phone's status bar.
The phone's status bar always shows the battery level of the earphone with the lowest charge. This feature is not supported by all phones.
Checking Charging Case Battery Level
Open the charging case lid or place an earphone in the charging case: If the charging case indicator light stays on for 5 seconds, it means the battery is sufficient. If the charging case indicator flashes white, it indicates the charging case battery level is low. Please charge immediately.
Checking Battery Level with a Mi Phone
After successfully connecting to a phone, place the earphones in the charging case and close the lid. Ensure Bluetooth is enabled on your Mi phone. Bring your phone close to the charging case, then you can check the battery levels of the earphones and the charging case.
If earphones do not connect automatically to a device, you will need to manually connect them to the desired device via the device's Bluetooth settings.
Function Overview
Due to Bluetooth signal characteristics, in environments with high 2.4 GHz electromagnetic signal interference, connection may be intermittently interrupted or there may be no sound at all.
Incoming Calls
Double-tap one of the earphones to answer or end calls.
Music and Voice Assistant
When wearing both earphones:
- Right (R) earphone: Double-tap lightly to play/pause music.
- Left (L) earphone: Double-tap lightly to access the voice assistant.
Earphone Removal: Music pauses automatically.
When wearing one earphone: Double-tap the earphone to play/pause music.
Clearing Connection History
Place both left and right earphones into the charging case. Press and hold the touch areas of both left and right earphones simultaneously for seven seconds, then release the touch areas when the earphone indicators turn white. The earphones have been reset and the connection history cleared. The earphone indicators will flash white, indicating they are waiting for connection.

Cleaning, Maintenance, and Usage Errors
Use your device, battery, charger, and accessories with care. The following recommendations will help keep your device in working condition.
