Maintenance and Care
Regular maintenance ensures the longevity and performance of your Rowenta Steamforce Plus iron.
- Anti-Calc System: To ensure optimal performance and a longer lifespan for your appliance, it is recommended to activate the anti-calc system 6 times per year. This process involves rinsing the system to remove any accumulated limescale. Refer to the detailed instructions in the safety and use booklet for the specific steps.
- Cleaning the Soleplate: If the soleplate becomes dirty, clean it with a damp cloth when the iron is cool. Avoid using abrasive cleaners or sharp objects that could damage the soleplate.
- Descaling: Depending on the hardness of your water, descaling may be necessary periodically. Follow the instructions in the safety and use booklet for the descaling procedure.
