Nikon D5

At the heart of the image

I AM VISION OUTPERFORMED

Shoot beyond what the eye can see with the Nikon D5. This flagship camera offers unparalleled power and precision. Its next-generation 153-point AF system ensures you stay on track, whether capturing fast-paced action or subtle details. The D5 boasts Nikon's highest expanded sensitivity, opening up new possibilities for low-light photography. For videographers, it enables extreme creativity with high-definition 4K/UHD movies.

Feature-Highlights:

Next-generation AF

Featuring an incredible 153 focus points, including 99 cross-type sensors, the D5 provides exceptionally wide AF coverage. Its AF sensitivity down to -4 EV (ISO 100, 20°C/68°F) enables superior low-light performance.

New metering and image sensors

The all-new 20.8 MP FX-format CMOS image sensor and 180K-pixel RGB metering sensor deliver phenomenally accurate subject recognition and image detail, with richer and more accurate tonal gradations.

Winning combination of power and precision

Shoot at up to 12 frames per second (fps) with AE/AF tracking, or up to 14 fps with mirror up. AF tracking and viewfinder visibility are vastly improved for capturing fast, unpredictable action.

High-performance buffer

Capture up to 200 NEF (RAW) or large JPEG images in a single high-speed burst, sufficient for an entire 100m sprint final without interruption.

Phenomenal sensitivity

Push the boundaries with an ISO range of 100 to 102400, extendable to ISO 3280000 equivalent at the Hi 5 setting. Experience exceptionally clean performance from ISO 3200 to 12800.

High-definition 4K/UHD movies

Record 4K movies (3840x2160 pixels) at 30p/25p/24p using a native pixel crop for the highest image quality. Full HD (1080p) video can be shot at up to 50p/60p in multiple formats.

High-speed image capture and 4x faster data transfer

Enhance your workflow with dual XQD card slots, a USB 3.0 port for high-speed data transfer, and 4x faster wireless and Ethernet connections.
