Product Information & Manual Override

The Curtain module terminal reserves the access of manual override function for the end-user to switch on/off.

If you have connected the wall push-button, check its work. Single pressing of the "down" button / "up" button will cause the roller shutters to move in the desired direction to the end position. If the electric shutter goes in the opposite direction to the expected, select "motor reversal" in the "More" option. When the electric shutter is moving up, pressing the "up" button stops it immediately; when moving down, pressing the "down" button stops it immediately.

Notes:

• Both the adjustment on the App and the manual switch can overwrite each other; the last adjustment remains in memory.
• The App control is synchronized with the manual switch.

Installation Warnings

• Installation must be carried out by a qualified electrician in accordance with local regulations.
• Keep the device out of reach of children.
• Keep the device away from water, damp, or hot environments.
• Install the device away from strong signal sources such as microwave ovens that may cause signal interruption and abnormal operation.
• Obstruction by concrete walls or metallic materials may reduce the effective operation range of the device and should be avoided.
• Do NOT attempt to disassemble, repair, or modify the device.

Wiring Instructions

1. Turn off the power supply before carrying out any electrical installation work.
2. Connect wires according to the wiring diagram.
3. Insert the module into the junction box.
4. Connect the power supply and follow the module configuration instructions.

Important: Our App only supports 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi networks (IEEE 802.11 b/g/n). For configuration, both the device and the mobile phone need to be connected to the same Wi-Fi network.

Download and Registration

(If you already have the HomCloud App on your smartphone and an account, proceed to Configuration.)

1. Download the HomCloud App from the App Store or Google Play, or scan the QR code. [Download on the App Store] [Download from Google Play]
2. Enter the register/login interface and register using your country area code and phone number/email address.
3. Wait a few minutes for the verification code (via email or text message) and enter it where required, along with a password (between 6 and 20 numbers and letters).

Configuration

1. Connect your mobile device to a 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi network and launch the HomCloud App.
2. Refer to "Wiring Instructions" if you haven't done so yet.
3. Press the traditional switch (connected to the Wi-Fi curtain module) ON-OFF-ON-OFF at least 5 times (once per second), or press the reset key for about 10 seconds until the beeper on the module sounds continuously. (If you wait more than 120 seconds, you will need to repeat this step).
4. Keep your smartphone close to the switch you want to configure (approx. 30 cm) and tap "Add Device" or the "+" icon on the HomCloud homepage. Then, tap "Curtain switch module" in the Wi-Fi devices list.
5. Confirm on the App that the module is beeping continuously.
6. Enter or confirm the Wi-Fi network name and password.
7. Wait for the configuration to reach 100% and tap "Done".
8. Rename the curtain switch module and choose the room name where it is located, if desired.

Integration with Google Home and Amazon Alexa

Download and install the Google Home or Amazon Alexa App on your mobile device to control your devices with your voice using Smart Speakers or directly from your smartphone.

Important: To control devices by voice, you will be prompted to link the HomCloud App to Google Home or Alexa Apps. Select the "Smart Life" App from the list of brands/partners for integration. (After this step, the user will be automatically directed to the HomCloud App).

Q2: Which products can I control with the device?

Curtains, shutters, blinds, etc.

Q3: What happens if the Wi-Fi goes off?

You can still control the device connected to the Curtain module using your traditional curtain switch. Once Wi-Fi is active again, the device will automatically reconnect to your Wi-Fi network.

Q4: What should I do if I change the Wi-Fi network or change the password?

You can connect the module to the Wi-Fi network according to the App User Manual.

Q5: How do I reset the device?

Power the device on/off 5 times or press the reset key for about 10 seconds until the beeper on the module sounds continuously.
