3. Tips to Reduce False Alarms
- Avoid installing the camera facing direct bright objects or light sources like sunshine or lamps.
- Do not install the camera in areas with frequent vehicle or personnel movement.
- The camera can detect people and vehicles within 15 meters (55 feet).
- Keep the camera away from air conditioning vents, humidifiers, projector heat openings, etc.
- Do not face the camera towards a mirror.

IX. Battery Management & Recharge
1. Battery Management
The camera has a built-in 5200mAh 21700 lithium battery, with a theoretical life of 3 months assuming 3 minutes of wake-up per day. If the battery drains quickly, it may be due to frequent wake-ups. Consider lowering the "Motion Detection Sensitivity".
2. Power Adapter Recharge
Charge the camera using a DC 5V 2A Adapter (not included). The charging indicator is yellow while charging and turns green when fully charged (approx. 10 hours).
3. Solar Panel Recharge
The camera supports charging with a DIHOOM solar panel. Do not use other solar panels. Solar charging is less efficient but can meet most security needs. Ensure the solar panel is well-connected and receives strong sunlight.
Refer to the Solar Panel Install Guide for more charging information.
X. Troubleshooting Table
No. | Issues | Solution and operation |
---|---|---|
1 | Connection cannot be established | 1) Check WiFi name and password. 2) Ensure WiFi is 2.4G (5G not supported). 3) Verify camera, phone, and router are close. 4) Contact customer service if issues persist. |
2 | Reset to default | 1) Double press the power button. 2) Hear "Ding Dong Ding Dong". 3) Blue light flashing. |
