OPERATION
The airflow knob adjusts the lower airflow from 100CFM up to the airflow rate of the speed determined by the toggle switch setting. Max airflow is HVI Certified performance based on HVI Procedures 915, 916, and 920. Other airflow reference performance is based on HVI Procedures 915, 916, and 920.
Description of Operation Diagram:
A circular dial indicates airflow control, marked with percentages (50%, 75%) and airflow rates (100CFM, Max.). The dial has a pointer labeled 'S'. Below the dial is a table detailing switch positions and corresponding airflow in CFM. The table shows four switch positions, each with two toggles labeled '1' and '2'. The airflow rates are listed as 500 CFM, 400 CFM, 300 CFM, and 200 CFM for these positions.
To the right is a schematic illustration of the speed controller unit's internal components, showing a fan wheel, motor housing, and electrical connections.
Switch Position | Airflow (CFM) |
---|---|
Position 1 (Toggles 1 & 2) | 500 |
Position 2 (Toggles 1 & 2) | 400 |
Position 3 (Toggles 1 & 2) | 300 |
Position 4 (Toggles 1 & 2) | 200 |
INSTALLATION GUIDE
Diagram 1 shows the fan assembly, with labels pointing to "SCREW A" and "NUT".

- Remove the Grille Assembly from the fan.
- Remove five screw A then remove the cover.
- Remove the nut then remove the fan wheel.
- Remove four screw B then disconnect power box and motor.
- Remove screw C then remove the current power box.
- Put the ODD-SCK-500 in the place, fix it with screw.
- Connect ODD-SCK-500 and motor, install motor back to the housing.
- Install fan wheel and cover back to the housing. Fix the fan wheel with nut, then fix the cover with 5 screw.
- Install Grille Assembly to the fan.
Wiring Diagram
The wiring diagram illustrates the electrical connections. It shows an "ON/OFF SWITCH" connected to "LINE IN" (BLK, WHT, GRD). The switch output connects to a "SWITCH BOX", which then connects to the "UNIT" containing the "FAN". The connections are labeled with wire colors (BLK, WHT, GRD) and components.
