2. Insert one battery (1.5V, AA/LR6) into the battery compartment (6).
Time Setting
NOTE! Upon receiving the DCF time signal, the time will be set according to Central European Time (CET). The switch between summer and winter time (and vice versa) also occurs automatically.
Automatic Time Setting via DCF Signal
After inserting the battery, the time will be automatically set via the DCF radio signal. This process may take a few minutes. During this time, the clock hands will turn several times with interruptions until the correct time is displayed.
Initiate DCF Time Signal Reception Manually
NOTE! Use this function if, for example, the automatic summer/winter time change is not recognized, or if the radio wall clock has temporarily lost DCF reception.
1. To perform a manual search for the DCF signal, press the REC button (8) for approximately 3 seconds.
2. The hands will move to the reception position (12:00), and the radio wall clock will attempt to receive the DCF signal.
3. Wait approximately 2-5 minutes until the current time is displayed.
Manual Time Setting
NOTE! Manual time setting is necessary when the radio wall clock is to be operated outside the DCF signal reception range.
1. Press and hold the M.SET button (9) for approximately 3 seconds.
2. As soon as the minute hand starts moving, you can set the time manually:
- Briefly press the M.SET button to set the time in minute steps.
- Hold down the M.SET button to adjust the time continuously.
3. When you release the M.SET button, the set time will be automatically adopted, and you will exit manual time setting mode.
Temperature and Humidity Display
The temperature (4) and humidity (3) measurements are taken manually. It may take a few minutes for the currently measured value to be displayed.
Mounting/Positioning
NOTE! Always ensure secure mounting or placement. Dropping the device can cause severe damage for which the manufacturer is not liable!
The wall clock can be mounted on the wall using the wall mount (5).
Troubleshooting
Connection Interference
Radio signals from other household devices, such as doorbells, security systems, and entry control systems, can interfere with this device and cause temporary malfunctions. This is normal and does not fundamentally impair the functionality. Radio signal transmission will resume once the interference has passed.
Other Malfunctions
If the radio wall clock no longer responds to button presses or if other malfunctions occur, follow these steps.
NOTE! All previously received DCF data will be deleted.
1. Press the RESET button (7) with a pointed object (e.g., a ballpoint pen).
2. The hands will move to the reception position (12:00), and the radio wall clock will attempt to receive the DCF signal.
3. Wait approximately 2-5 minutes until the current time is displayed.
