Installation Instructions

Follow these steps for installation:

  1. Prepare Ceiling: Open a hole in the ceiling according to the specified dimensions for the chosen model. (Refer to Diagram 1: Ceiling preparation with a hole).
  2. Connect Driver: Connect the driver to the power supply and the light fixture as per the wiring diagram. Place the driver and wiring inside the ceiling through the prepared hole. (Refer to Diagram 2: Wire connection showing AC input, driver, and output).
  3. Secure Fixture: Push the two spring elements inwards, then release them to anchor the fixture securely to the back of the ceiling. (Refer to Diagrams 3 & 4: Fixture being pushed into the ceiling and secured by spring clips).

Connectivity and Control

Link/Unlink with Remote Controls

MiBOXER products are compatible with various 2.4G RF remote controls (purchased separately), including models like FUT089, FUT088, FUT092, FUT096, B8, B0, B3/T3, and B4/T4.

2.4GHz Gateway (WL-Box1)

The WL-Box1 gateway enables smartphone app control and integration with voice assistants like Amazon Alexa and Google Assistant. It features WiFi connectivity (IEEE 802.11b/g/n 2.4GHz) and 2.4GHz RF communication. Input power is DC5V/500mA (Micro USB).

Signal Transmitting & Mode Synchronization

Signal Transmitting: One downlight can relay signals from the remote control to another downlight within a 30m range. If there is a downlight within 30m, the control distance can be extended limitlessly. (Illustrated by a diagram showing signal transmission between two downlights over a distance).

Modes Synchronization: Multiple downlights can operate synchronously when activated at different times, provided they are controlled by the same remote, are under the same dynamic mode, and are within a 30m distance. (Illustrated by a diagram showing signal transmission and mode synchronization between downlights over a distance).

Important Attention Points

  • When installing lighting fixtures, ensure the power is switched off for safety.
  • Please verify that the input voltage supply is in accordance with the lighting fixture's requirements.
  • Non-professional users should not dismantle the lighting fixtures directly, as this may lead to fire or electric shock.
  • Avoid using lighting fixtures in areas with strong magnetic fields or metal surfaces, as this can negatively affect the control distance.
