07 Instruction Guide
7.1 Install App
(1) Download the App: Search for "Phomemo" in your phone's app market and download the app.
7.2 Connect the printer to the App
Method 1: Turn on your phone's Bluetooth and open the Phomemo App. On the app's home page, tap the icon in the upper right corner and select "M08F" from the list to connect.
Note: Android systems require location services to be enabled and the app to have necessary permissions.
Method 2: Double-press the printer's power button to print a QR code. Open your Phomemo App, tap the icon in the upper right corner on the home page, select "Add Device", then tap "Scan" and scan the QR code to connect the printer.
7.2 Install and change the printer's consumable
(1) Installing Consumable: Hold the paper straight with both hands and carefully insert it into the printer's feeder until the roller pulls it to the optimal position. For best printing quality, use official Phomemo paper.
Hint:
- The short edge of the paper must be parallel to the paper feeder slot.
- The paper can only be printed on one side. Check the paper; the side with "This side should face up" is the non-printable side and should be installed facing up.
(2) Changing Consumable:
- In the app, you can set the paper type to "Single paper" or "Fanfold A4 paper".
- Follow the "Installing Consumable" instructions to install the relevant consumables.
Note:
- To remove the printing paper, simultaneously press the PUSH buttons to gently open the printer cover and take out the paper.
- When using "Fanfold A4 paper", after printing, tear along the perforation lines.
08 Official printing paper type
Normal thermal paper: Does not contain Bisphenol-A. Printed text can last for 7-10 years if stored in a dry, room-temperature environment away from direct sunlight.
Writable Quick-drying thermal paper: Does not contain Bisphenol-A. It can be written on, and the ink dries quickly. Printed text can last up to 10 years if stored in a dry, room-temperature environment away from direct sunlight.
- The printing papers mentioned are official Phomemo (Mr.In) printing papers.
- Issues arising from using non-official printing papers are not covered under the warranty policy.
