- Never smoke or allow sparks/flames near the battery, engine, or power station.
- Stay clear of fan blades, belts, pulleys, and other moving parts.
- Remove personal metal items (rings, necklaces, watches) when working with batteries to avoid severe burns from short circuits.
- Do not wear vinyl clothing; friction can cause static sparks.
- Be careful not to drop metal tools on the battery; it may cause sparks or explosion.
- Perform jump-start procedures in a safe, dry, well-ventilated area.
- Always store battery clamps when not in use. Never touch clamps together to avoid sparks or explosion.
- Keep unit on a flat, stable surface away from moving vehicle parts.
- Never allow red and black clamps to touch each other or common conductors to prevent damage and hazards.
- Connection Procedure (Negative-Grounded Systems - Most Common): Connect positive (red) clamp to positive battery post; connect negative (black) clamp to vehicle chassis or engine block away from the battery (not to carburetor, fuel lines, or sheet metal). Connect to a heavy gauge metal part.
- Connection Procedure (Positive-Grounded Systems): Connect negative (black) clamp to negative battery post; connect positive (red) clamp to vehicle chassis or engine block away from the battery.
- If clamps are connected incorrectly (reverse polarity), the LCD will display fault icons, and the unit will sound a continuous alarm until disconnected. Disconnect and reconnect with correct polarity.
- Always disconnect the negative (black) cable first, then the positive (red) cable (except for positive grounded systems).
- Do not expose battery to fire or intense heat; protect terminals with tape before disposal.
- Place unit as far from the battery as cables permit.
- Never allow battery acid to contact the unit.
- Do not operate in a closed area or restrict ventilation.
- Use only on vehicles with 12-volt DC battery systems.

Charging/Recharging
The unit is delivered partially charged and must be fully charged before first use. Initial AC charge should be for 24 hours or until the Battery Status Icon shows 4 solid bars.
Lead-acid batteries require routine maintenance. They lose energy over time and need periodic charging. Recharge at least every 30 days and after each use if not in frequent use.
CAUTION: Failure to keep the battery charged will cause permanent damage and reduce performance.
IMPORTANT NOTES:
- Recharging after each use prolongs battery life. Frequent heavy discharges or overcharging reduce battery life.
- Turn off all other unit functions during recharging.
- If the unit appears fully charged but is discharged, the internal battery may have high impedance. Leave charging for 40 hours using the built-in AC charger.
Charging/Recharging Using the Built-In 120 Volt AC Charger and AC Extension Cord (not included):
- Lift the protective cover of the built-in 120 Volt AC Charger. Connect an extension cord to the unit and plug into a standard 120-volt AC wall outlet. The LCD screen will display charging status.
- Charge for approximately 24 hours or until the Battery Status Icon shows 4 solid bars.
- When charging is complete, unplug the AC extension cord from the outlet and then disconnect it from the unit.
Jump Starter
The unit has a jump starter power switch that allows energy flow only when proper connections are made to the battery and frame.
Connection Procedure (Negative-Grounded Systems): Connect positive (red) clamp to positive battery post; connect negative (black) clamp to vehicle chassis or engine block away from the battery.
Connection Procedure (Positive-Grounded Systems): Connect negative (black) clamp to negative battery post; connect positive (red) clamp to vehicle chassis or engine block away from the battery.
IMPORTANT: Turn off the Compressor Power Button before using as a Jump Starter.
WARNING: Follow all safety instructions. Never touch clamps together. If clamps are connected incorrectly (reverse polarity), the unit will sound a continuous alarm, and the LCD will display fault indicators. Disconnect and reconnect with correct polarity.
If the Jump Starter Power Switch is turned on and clamps are not connected to a battery, a warning will sound every 10 seconds, and the LCD will display relevant icons and flashing indicators.
PROCEDURE:
- Turn off vehicle ignition and all accessories. Place vehicle in "park" and set the emergency brake.
- Ensure the jump-starter power switch is OFF.
- Remove jumper clamps from tabs. Connect the red clamp first, then the black clamp.
- For NEGATIVE GROUNDED SYSTEMS (Most Common): Connect positive (+) red clamp to vehicle battery’s positive terminal. Connect negative (-) black clamp to chassis or a solid, non-moving, metal vehicle component or body part away from the battery.
- For POSITIVE GROUND SYSTEMS: Connect negative (-) black clamp to vehicle battery’s negative terminal. Connect positive (+) red clamp to vehicle chassis or a solid, non-moving, metal vehicle component or body part away from the battery.
- When clamps are connected properly, the LCD will indicate the unit is ready to jump-start (solid icons, flashing Jump Starter Icon).
- Turn the Jump-Starter Power Switch ON. The Engine Icon will light solid, indicating it's time to start the vehicle. Crank the engine in 5-6 second bursts until it starts. The LCD will display jump-starting status.
- Turn the Jump-Starter Power Switch OFF.
- Disconnect the negative (-) clamp first, then the positive (+) clamp.
IMPORTANT: Always turn the unit OFF when not in use. Recharge fully after each use.

IMPORTANT: Turn off the Jump Starter Power Button before using as a Jump Starter.
WARNING: Follow all safety instructions for compressors.
CAUTION: The compressor may operate normally or rev down temporarily to prevent overheating. Do not operate continuously for longer than 10 minutes. If longer operation is needed, turn off and restart after a 30-minute cooling period.
The compressor can inflate up to 120 PSI. It can fill up to 3 average tires before recharging is needed.
Inflating Tires or Products With Valve Stems:
- Screw the Sure Fit® nozzle onto the valve stem. Do not overtighten.
- Press the Compressor Power Button. A beep sounds, and the LCD shows the Compressor Icon. The display alternates between the set PSI and the current pressure.
- Use the "+" and "-" buttons to set the desired pressure (3-120 PSI). The unit beeps with each press. Holding a button speeds up selection.
- Press the Compressor Power Button again to begin inflating. The Compressor Icon flashes, and the display shows the current pressure. Monitor pressure on the LCD.
- When the desired pressure is reached, the compressor stops automatically.
- Press the Compressor Power Button to turn off the unit.
- Unscrew and remove the Sure Fit® nozzle.
- Allow the unit to cool, then recharge before storing.
- Store the compressor hose and nozzle in the storage compartment.
Inflating Other Inflatables Without Valve Stems:
- Screw the nozzle adapter into the Sure Fit® nozzle.
- Insert the nozzle adapter into the item to be inflated.
- Follow steps 2 through 4 of the "Inflating Tires or Products With Valve Stems" section.
IMPORTANT: Small items inflate quickly; set pressure carefully to avoid over-inflation.
When desired pressure is reached, the compressor stops automatically. Press the Compressor Power Button to turn off the unit. Disconnect the adapter, unscrew it from the Sure Fit® nozzle, allow the unit to cool, and recharge before storing.
Care and Maintenance
