CAUTION: NEVER attempt to jump-start or charge a frozen battery.

  • Vehicles with computerized systems may be damaged; consult your vehicle's manual.
  • Ensure immediate assistance is available when working with lead-acid batteries.
  • Never smoke or allow sparks/flames near batteries or engines.
  • Stay clear of moving parts like fan blades and belts.
  • Remove metal jewelry (rings, watches) as batteries can produce high short-circuit currents.
  • Do not wear vinyl clothing; friction can cause static sparks.
  • Be careful not to drop metal tools onto the battery.
  • Perform jump-start procedures in a safe, dry, well-ventilated area.
  • Store battery clamps when not in use; never touch them together.
  • Keep clamps, cords, clothing, and body parts away from moving vehicle parts.
  • Never allow red and black clamps to touch each other or a common metal conductor.
  • If clamps are connected incorrectly (polarity), the unit will sound an alarm and display error indicators. Disconnect and reconnect with correct polarity.
  • Always disconnect the negative (black) cable first, then the positive (red) cable (except for positive grounded systems).
  • Protect battery terminals with tape before disposal.
  • Place the unit as far from the battery as cables permit.
  • Never allow battery acid to contact the unit.
  • Do not operate in a closed area or restrict ventilation.
  • This system is designed for 12-volt DC battery systems only.
  • Do not use as a replacement for a vehicular battery or operate a vehicle without a battery.
  • Excessive cranking can damage the starter motor; discontinue if the engine fails to start after recommended attempts.
  • Do not use on watercraft; it is not qualified for marine applications.
  • Keep the unit upright during storage, use, and recharging. Protect from direct sunlight, heat, and moisture.

Specific Safety Instructions for USB Power Ports

  • Do not insert foreign objects into USB ports.
  • Do not attach USB hubs or more than one device per port.
  • Do not operate appliances requiring more than 3.1 amps total from the USB ports.

Specific Safety Instructions for Compressors

WARNING: Bursting articles can cause serious injury. Follow instructions on items to be inflated. Never exceed recommended pressure. Monitor pressure gauge.

CAUTION: Never leave the compressor unattended. Do not operate continuously for longer than approximately 10 minutes to prevent overheating.

First Aid

  • General: Ensure immediate assistance is available. Always wear protective eyewear.
  • Battery Acid Contact:
    • Skin: Rinse immediately with water, then wash thoroughly with soap and water. Seek medical attention if redness, pain, or irritation occurs.
    • Eyes: Flush eyes immediately with clean water for at least 15 minutes and seek immediate medical attention.
  • LCD Liquid Crystal Contact:
    • Skin: Wash area completely with plenty of water. Remove contaminated clothing.
    • Eye: Flush affected eye with clean water and seek medical attention.
    • Swallowed: Flush mouth thoroughly with water, drink large quantities of water, and induce vomiting. Seek medical attention.

Operation Procedures

Charging/Recharging the Unit

Lead-acid batteries require routine maintenance. Recharge the unit at least every 30 days and after each use.

IMPORTANT CHARGING NOTES:

  • The unit is delivered partially charged; fully charge for 20 hours before first use.
  • Recharging after each use prolongs battery life.
  • Turn off all other unit functions during recharging.

CAUTION: Failure to keep the battery charged will cause permanent damage.

Procedure:

  1. Connect the AC charging adapter's barrel connector to the unit's AC charging port and plug the adapter into a standard 120V AC outlet. The LCD screen will display charging indicators.
  2. Charge for approximately 20 hours or until the Battery Status Icon shows 4 solid bars.
  3. When charging is complete, disconnect the AC adapter from the power source, then disconnect from the unit.

Viewing Battery Status

The Battery Status Icon and Battery Voltage Indicator on the LCD screen show the battery charge level:

  • Four solid bars: Full capacity.
  • Two or three solid bars: Partially charged.
  • One solid bar: Nearly empty; charge the unit.
  • Four empty bars: Completely empty; unit MUST be charged. Low voltage protection will activate, and the unit will shut down.

Wireless Charging

The built-in Wireless Charging feature is suitable for most compatible appliances.

IMPORTANT NOTE: The Wireless Charging function will shut down automatically if no appliance is detected for 3 minutes.

Procedure:

  1. Press the Wireless Charging Button. A beep will sound, and the LCD will display the Wireless Charging Indicator flashing.
  2. Place the appliance in the center of the Wireless Charging Pad.
  3. When charging is complete, press the Wireless Charging Button to turn it off.

IMPORTANT: Ensure Wireless Charging is OFF when recharging or storing the unit.

Jump-Starter Operation

IMPORTANT: All features must be OFF (except the area light) when jump-starting. Keep the unit upright.

WARNING: Follow all safety instructions. Incorrect polarity will trigger an alarm and error indicators. Never touch red and black clamps together. Overheating will activate thermal protection.

Procedure:

  1. Turn off vehicle ignition and all accessories. Place vehicle in park and set the emergency brake.
  2. Connect the Boost Cables Connector to the Clamp Connection Slot on the unit.
  3. Connect the red clamp first, then the black clamp.
  4. For NEGATIVE GROUNDED SYSTEMS (Most Common):
    • Connect the positive (+) red clamp to the vehicle battery's positive terminal.
    • Connect the negative (-) black clamp to the vehicle chassis or a solid, non-moving metal part. Never clamp directly to the negative battery terminal or a moving part.
  5. For POSITIVE GROUND SYSTEMS:
    • Connect the negative (-) black clamp to the vehicle battery's negative terminal.
    • Connect the positive (+) red clamp to the vehicle chassis or a solid, non-moving metal part. Never clamp directly to the positive battery terminal or a moving part.
  6. Once clamps are properly connected, the LCD will indicate readiness (Jump Starter Icon flashing).
  7. Turn on the ignition and crank the engine in 5-6 second bursts until it starts. The LCD will show the jump-starting process.
  8. Disconnect the negative (-) clamp first, then the positive (+) clamp.

NOTE: If the unit malfunctions after jump-starting, recharge it to reset.

IMPORTANT: Detach the Boost Cables Connector and store it when not in use. Always turn the unit OFF when not in use and recharge fully after each use.

Alternator Check

This check is for 12-volt systems only. Ensure the vehicle battery is fully charged before testing.

PART 1: No Load (Vehicle Accessories OFF)

  1. Set up the unit and connect clamps as per Jump-Starter procedure.
  2. Press the Alternator Check Button. The LCD will show the unit analyzing the alternator.
  3. If the alternator is good, the LCD will display "ALT GOOD".
  4. If the alternator is out of range, the LCD will display "ALT" and the Fault Icon will flash.
  5. Press the Alternator Check Button again to stop the test.

PART 2: Under Load (Vehicle Accessories ON)

  1. Turn on as many vehicle accessories as possible (except A/C and Defrost).
  2. Press the Alternator Check Button. The LCD will show the unit analyzing the alternator.
  3. If the alternator is good, the LCD will display "ALT GOOD".
  4. If the alternator is out of range, the LCD will display "ALT" and the Fault Icon will flash.
  5. Press the Alternator Check Button again to stop the test.

IMPORTANT: Always turn the unit off when not in use. Recharge fully after each use.

Portable Compressor Operation

The built-in 12-volt DC compressor can inflate tires and inflatables up to 120 PSI.

WARNING: Follow all safety instructions for compressors.

CAUTION: The compressor may operate normally for periods, then rev down to prevent overheating. Do not operate continuously for longer than 10 minutes. If longer operation is needed, turn off for a 30-minute cooling period.

Inflating Tires or Products with Valve Stems:

  1. Screw the Sure Fit® nozzle onto the valve stem.
  2. Press the Compressor Power Button. The LCD will display the current pressure and the set pressure.
  3. Use the (+) and (-) buttons to set the desired pressure (3-120 PSI).
  4. Press the Compressor Power Button again to begin inflating. Monitor the pressure on the LCD.
  5. The compressor will stop automatically when the desired pressure is reached.
  6. Press the Compressor Power Button again to turn off the unit.
  7. Unscrew and remove the nozzle. Allow the unit to cool and recharge before storing.

Inflating Other Inflatables Without Valve Stems:

  1. Screw the nozzle adapter into the Sure Fit® nozzle.
  2. Insert the nozzle adapter into the item to be inflated.
  3. Follow steps 2 through 4 of the "Inflating Tires" procedure. Be aware that small items inflate rapidly.
  4. When desired pressure is reached, the compressor stops automatically. Press the Compressor Power Button to turn off the unit.
  5. Disconnect the adapter from the item.
  6. Unscrew the nozzle adapter from the Sure Fit® nozzle. Allow the unit to cool and recharge before storing.

Store the compressor hose, Sure Fit® nozzle, and nozzle adapter in the storage groove.

USB Ports Usage

The two USB Ports provide a total of 3.1A (5V each). They only provide power, not data communication.

IMPORTANT NOTES:

  • The unit monitors for low battery voltage, overload, and short circuit faults. Faults will be indicated on the LCD and may cause the USB ports to shut down.
  • If a fault occurs: disconnect the USB device, turn off USB ports, ensure the unit is charged, allow it to cool, and check the USB device for malfunction.
  • Some household USB electronics may not operate with this unit.

Procedure:

  1. Press the USB Power Button. A beep will sound, USB Power/Fault Indicators will light blue, and the LCD will show the USB Icon.
  2. Plug the USB-powered device into the USB port(s).
  3. Press the USB Power Button again to turn off the USB Ports.

IMPORTANT: Ensure USB Ports are OFF when recharging or storing the unit.

LED Area Light Usage

The LED Area Light is controlled by its power button.

  1. Press the Area Light Power Button once to turn the light ON.
  2. Press the Area Light Power Button again to turn the light OFF.

The LCD will briefly activate when the light is turned on.

IMPORTANT: Ensure the Area Light is OFF when recharging or storing the unit.

Troubleshooting

Unit not charging
  • Ensure all unit functions are OFF.
  • Check AC power source connection and functionality.
Wireless Charging function will not charge appliance
  • Ensure Wireless Charging Button is pressed ON.
  • Place appliance in the center of the Wireless Charging Pad.
  • Check appliance manual for compatibility.
  • Ensure the unit has a full charge.
Engine fails to jump-start
  • Verify correct polarity cable connection.
  • Allow the unit to cool if it overheated during cranking. Ensure all functions are OFF.
  • Ensure the unit is not in compressor mode.
  • Ensure the unit has a full charge.
Portable Compressor will not inflate
  • Ensure Compressor Power Button is pressed ON.
  • Ensure the unit is not in Jump Starter mode.
  • Ensure the Sure Fit® nozzle or adapter is securely attached to the valve stem or item.
  • Ensure the unit has a full charge.
USB Power Port will not power appliance
  • Ensure USB Power Button is ON and USB Power/Fault Indicators are solid blue.
  • If indicators flash blue, refer to USB Ports section for fault remedies.
  • Ensure total draw of USB devices does not exceed 3.1A.
  • Check appliance manual for compatibility.
  • Ensure the unit has a full charge.
LED Area Light does not come on
  • Ensure LED Area Light Power Button is ON.
  • Ensure the unit has a full charge.

Care and Maintenance

Batteries lose energy over time. Recharge the unit at least every 30 days when not in use.

Wipe the exterior with a soft cloth. Do not immerse the unit in water.

There are no user-replaceable parts. Periodically inspect adapters, connectors, and wires. Contact the manufacturer for replacements.

Battery Replacement/Disposal

The battery is designed for the service life of the unit and is not replaceable, removable, or serviceable.

Safe Battery Disposal: Contains a sealed, non-spillable, lead-acid battery. Recycling is required. Dispose of according to local, state, and federal regulations.

WARNING: Do not dispose of the battery in fire. Protect exposed terminals with tape before disposal to prevent shorting.
