Battery Installation & Safety

Before beginning, an adult must install fresh alkaline batteries. Here's how:

1. Using a Philip's screwdriver (not included) remove the screw and battery compartment cover from behind the kitchen.
2. Install (3) 1.5V AA (LR6) alkaline batteries (not included) making sure the (+) and (-) ends face the proper direction as indicated inside the battery compartment.
3. Replace the compartment cover and tighten the screw.

Battery Precautions:

• Use only size "AA" (LR6) alkaline batteries (3 required).
• Charging of rechargeable batteries should only be done under adult supervision.
• Remove rechargeable batteries from the product before recharging.
• Do not mix old and new batteries.
• Do not mix alkaline, standard (carbon-zinc), or rechargeable batteries.
• Be sure to insert the batteries correctly and follow the toy and battery manufacturer's instructions.
• Always remove exhausted or dead batteries from the product.
• Dispose of dead batteries properly: do not burn or bury them.
• Do not attempt to recharge non-rechargeable batteries.
• Do not short circuit the supply terminals.
• Remove batteries before placing the unit into storage for a prolonged period of time.

Before You Start!

• Contents, including specifications and colors, may vary from photos depicted.
• Cover the play area to prevent resin damage to surfaces.
• An adult must be present when playing with resin.
• Keep rubbing alcohol or wipes close by to clean up messes and your hands. Rubbing alcohol or wipes not included.
• It is highly recommended to wear gloves and eye protection while using resin. Gloves and eye protection not included.

Customize Your Kitchen

• Adjust the cabinet shelves by sliding them into the bottom or top slots.
• Slide the cabinet inserts through the top of the kitchen.
• Insert the counter backsplash through the right side of the kitchen.

How to Play With Resin!

• Think of your resin as glue. Use it to make everything stay in place. Note: When using as a base holder, make sure to expose resin to UV light to set it.
• To make it easier to pour, try keeping the bottle upside down, with the CAP ON, in a cup or bowl for at least 1 minute.
• When poured, resin will take a few seconds to drip or spread.
• Don't overfill your cups & plates – make sure you have enough room for your ingredients.
• If large bubbles appear when pouring, use the tip of the tweezers to pop them. (Note: The more you mix/stir the resin, the more bubbles that will appear.)
• While resin is still wet, using tweezers, take the time to carefully place all your items before placing in the UV oven to set.

Chef's Tip: Warm up the bottle of resin in your hands for a minute or more to make it easily pourable.

Step-by-Step Instructions

1. Make It

   Build your dish or drink using the ingredients and step-by-step recipe card from your pack.

   Note: Each pack has unique ingredients; some packs may have a few more pieces than needed for the recipe.

   You can mix ingredients to make your own creations.

2. Set It

   Once you have your dish or drink prepped, place your dish, drink or tray in the UV oven to set.

   • Press the far right button to start the timer.
   • The yellow light will turn on and timer will run for 5 minutes.

   NOTE: Ensure the oven door is closed completely to properly set recipes.*

   • After 5 minutes, the yellow light will turn off. Follow the recipe for the amount of time needed to set your dish or drink. Repeat the setting process as needed.

   Chef's Tip: Resin still sticky after 5 minutes? Give it a little more time under the light. The more exposure it gets, the better it will set.

3. Show It

   Pull down the table on the back of the kitchen to display your dishes and drinks.

4. Store It

   Use the various cabinets and drawers to store your materials and ingredients.

   When you're finished with your dish or drinks, store them in the refrigerator.

How to Play With UV Light Oven!

• Oven has a timer of 5 minutes.
• If oven door is opened during setting, the timer will turn off and you will have to restart the timer.
• When UV light is ON, do not look directly into the light.
