Mueller Hg80 Braces: Application and Care Instructions

Intended Use

Ankle Braces: Provide advanced support and protection for weak, injured, or unstable ankles. Helps protect from injury or re-injury.

Wrist Brace: Provides support to weak or injured wrists; helps reduce motion in the wrist.

Elbow Brace: Provides targeted compression to the forearm to help reduce pain and discomfort.

How to Apply

Hg80® Soft Ankle Brace with Straps (Models: 49011, 49012, 49013, 49014, 49021, 49022, 49023, 49024, 99710, 99711, 99712, 99713, 99714, 99715, 49710, 49711, 49712, 49713, 49714, 49715)

  1. Unfasten straps and open brace.
  2. Slide foot toe-first into the back of the brace.
  3. Pull brace shells upward and align shells with the sides of the ankle.
  4. Wrap Achilles strap around the back of the ankle and secure snugly.
  5. Pull cross strap, wrap around the back of the ankle, and secure.
  6. Adjust as needed for a firm, comfortable fit.

Hg80® Adjust-to-Fit® Ankle Brace (Model: 47417)

  1. Open brace by detaching Adjust-to-Fit™ side panels, then insert foot.
  2. Reattach Adjust-to-Fit™ side panels.
  3. Lace up for a snug, comfortable fit.
  4. Adjust as needed.

Hg80® Wrist Brace (Models: 79718, 79719, 94618, 94619, 99718, 99719)

  1. Loosen strap.
  2. Insert thumb through thumb hole.
  3. Wrap strap around wrist.
  4. Adjust as needed.

Hg80® Tennis Elbow Brace (Models: 6733ML, 79018, 79019, 99018, 99019)

  1. Loosen strap.
  2. Slide brace on, center gel pad on top of forearm.
  3. Adjust as needed.

Care and Precautions

CAUTION: Constructed of a neoprene blend which may cause skin irritations. If rash develops or pain persists, discontinue use and consult a physician.

CARE: Hand wash in cold water with mild detergent. Do not use bleach or fabric softener. Rinse thoroughly and air dry.
