Assembly Guide
The Kemi Natural Solid Beech Harp Bed Frame is assembled by connecting the main structural components and then adding the support system for the mattress.
Step 1: Frame Construction
The bed frame consists of a headboard (labeled 'a'), two side rails (labeled 'b'), and a footboard (labeled 'c'). These are typically joined using screws and washers. Central support beams (labeled 'd', 'e') are attached to the side rails to provide structural integrity. Diagrams show specific hardware like screws (J, K) and washers (E, F) used in these connections.
Step 2: Support Feet and Slats Installation
Central support feet (labeled 'e') are attached to the underside of the frame to bear weight. The wooden slats (labeled 'f') are then laid across the side rails and support beams to create the mattress base. The diagrams indicate that multiple slats (f x 4) are used.
Important Assembly Tip: As indicated in the instructions, keep the support feet slightly untightened during initial assembly. This adjustment allows for final positioning between the headboard and footboard to ensure proper alignment.
