Step 1: Check Parts
Once you have opened the packaging, check all of the parts and tools supplied. Take a few minutes to familiarise yourself with the assembly instructions provided.

Step 2: Attach Wheels
Turn the base of the chair (star leg) upside down and insert the chair wheels into the sockets. This may require a little force for the wheels to slot neatly into the sockets.
Step 3: Insert Gas Lift Piston
Turn the base of the chair the right way up, ensuring all chair wheels are correctly inserted. Insert the gas lift piston into the center hole of the base and place the protective plastic tube over the top of the piston.
Step 4: Attach Armrests
Attach the armrests onto the seat base using the appropriate screws (4 x Screw No. 10). For a massage function chair, the right armrest comes with a fitted pocket for the remote controller.
Step 5: Attach Chair Back
Next, slide the chair back into the fittings on the armrests and fasten it with the appropriate screws (2 x Screw No. 11).
Step 6: Fit Reclining Mechanism
Turn the chair upside down. Fit the reclining mechanism to the underside of the seat base. Attach the silver fixing plate on the mechanism to the bottom of the seat using two screws (2 x Screw No. 13).
Step 7: Connect Piston to Seat Back
To fit the piston, first attach it to the back of the seat base. Insert the end of the piston between the fixing points on the chair back. Secure it in place by inserting a screw through the chair fixing and the piston, and tighten with the correct nut (1 x Screw and nut No. 12).
Step 8: Connect Reclining Mechanism to Piston
Finish attaching the reclining mechanism by aligning the end of the piston with the fixture added in Step 7. Insert a bolt (1 x Screw and nut No. 14) through both. You may need to press down on the mechanism's lever to extend the piston. To ensure the reclining mechanism works, feed the tension cable through the hoop of the piston, fix the ball on the end of the cable into the piston lever, and tighten with the attached nuts.
Step 9: Attach Base Mechanism
Attach the base mechanism to the underside of the chair by screwing it in place using the appropriate screws and washers (4 x Screw No. 13 and 4 x Washers No. 15).
Step 10: Connect Cables (Optional for massage model)
To connect the cables for the massage function: connect the two white cables together ➡️, then connect the two thicker cables together ➡️, and finally connect the power cable to its respective connection ➡️.
Step 11: Final Assembly
Finally, turn the chair the right way up and slot the top of the chair onto the gas lift piston on the base of the chair.
