Device Compatibility

This guide details the compatibility of the Philips HearLink 2 app with Apple devices running iOS 16.0 or later.

Compatibility requires devices with at least 2 GB of RAM and operating system iOS 16 or higher. Philips HearLink 2 and Philips HearLink 9030/9040 hearing aids necessitate a mobile device with Bluetooth® 4.2 or above.

Apple Watch Integration

Users can operate the HearLink 2 app conveniently from their Apple Watch. This feature requires a compatible iPhone and an Apple Watch Series 4 or later with WatchOS 8 or later. For the app to function on the Apple Watch, it must be running in the background on the iPhone.

Hands-Free Communication

Several Philips HearLink hearing aid models support hands-free calls and bi-directional streaming with iPhones and iPads. These models include:
