Assembly Manual
Features
1. The Y-axis rotating drum assembly is used for laser engraving cylindrical objects of different diameters.
2. This product is an accessory to the same series of laser engraving machines, not an independent device. In order to ensure its correct operation, it needs to be used in conjunction with the laser engraving machine produced by Aufero.
Hints
1. This product can be used with other brands of laser engraving machines, but a perfect fit cannot be guaranteed. Aufero does not assume any responsibility for any losses caused by this.
2. Assembly of the machine must be done on a flat surface.

Installation Steps
Step 1
Attach the motor (Motor ×1) to the gear fixing plate (Gear fixing plate X2) using four M3×6 screws (M3×6 screw motor×4) and two M5 nuts (M5 nut ×2). Align with the pulley assembly (Pulley assembly ×2).
Step 2
Connect the 2040 aluminum profile (2040 aluminum profile X1) to the assembly using four M5×12 screws (M5×12 screw × 4).
Step 3
Assemble the rollers (Roller ×2) with bearings (Bearing ×4), rolling fixed frame (Rolling fixed frame ×2), removable roller holder (Removable roller holder x 2), and 25-tooth synchronization wheels (25 tooth synchronization wheel ×2).
Step 4
Mount the roller assembly to the main frame using four M5×12 screws (M5×12 screw×4) and four M5 nuts (M5 nut ×4).
Step 5
Attach the 16-tooth synchronization wheel (16-tooth synchronization wheel ×1) to the motor shaft using four M5×12 screws (M5×12 screw × 4) and four M5 nuts (M5 nut ×4).
Step 6
Install the timing belt (Timing belt ×1). Ensure pulleys and bearings are aligned horizontally.
How to Use It
To adjust the roller position, loosen the screws but do not remove them. There are 7 gears available for adjustment.
The minimum diameter of each gear is 8mm, 20mm, 30mm, 45mm, 60mm, 80mm, 100mm from right to left.
Cone Object Engraving Kit Assembly Steps
Attach the roller stopper (Roller stopper ×1) using two M5×6 screws (M5×6 screw ×2).
Install the guide wheel lifting plate spacer (Guide wheel lifting plate spacer X1) and guide wheel lifting plate (Guide wheel lifting plate X1).
Attach the wheels (Whee X2) with M5 elastic washers (M5 elastic washer X2) and M5 nuts (M5 nut X2) using M3×12 hand screws (M3×12 hand screw X2) and M5×20 screws (M5×20 screw X2). Apply anti-slip mats (防滑垫 X4).
Loosen the screws but do not remove them for adjustment. The adjustable height is 40mm.
Software Settings
LaserGRBL Program Settings
YRR 2.0 download address: https://www.aufero.com/pages/software-operation
Step 1: Open LaserGRBL and connect the machine. Right-click on a blank area and select 'Import Custom button' (导入自定义按钮).
Step 2: Select the button file (e.g., YRC_YRR.zbn). In the pop-up windows, select 'Yes' (是(Y)) to remove actual buttons.
Step 3: The first click on the imported button turns it on; the second click turns it off. Console commands: Type $22=0
to turn it on, and $101=80
to turn it off.
Lightburn Program Settings
Step 1: On the console, type $22=0
.
Step 2: Click the 'Rotation Settings' button. Select 'Roller' type. Turn on 'Enable Rotary'. Close 'Mirror Output to Rotary'. Select 'Y Axis'. Enter '63.00' in 'mm per rotation' and '20.000mm' in 'Roller Diameter'.
To return to the default state when not using YRR2.0, select 'Console' and type $22=1
.
Connecting YRR2.0
Connect YRR2.0 to AL1

Connect YRR2.0 to Other Brands
Use the provided adapter cable to connect the YRR2.0 Y-axis motor line to other brands of laser engraving machines. The diagram shows the YRR2.0 unit, the Y-axis motor line, and the adapter cable with connectors labeled A and B.
