Owner's Manual
Two-Channel Amplifiers
1. Introduction
Thank you for purchasing this Deaf Bonce product! Our company is committed to creating extremely loud sound systems with no loss of quality. To ensure proper use, please carefully read through this manual before using this product. It is especially important that you read and observe cautions in this manual. Please keep the manual in a safe and accessible place for future reference.
2. Safety Instructions
- Ensure your vehicle has a 12V DC electrical system with negative grounding. Check battery voltage before installing the amplifier in cars, trucks, or buses.
- Check the vehicle's on-board power supply, battery, and alternator. With the engine running, the alternator output voltage should be between 14V and 14.7V. The battery's open circuit voltage (OCV) should be between 12.5V and 13V. Ensure the alternator's rated current and battery capacity are sufficient for increased consumption. For a 1000W amplifier, a 77-ampere alternator is required. More powerful amplifiers need more powerful alternators and additional batteries.
- Do not place the amplifier in the engine compartment or in areas exposed to water, moisture, dust, or dirt.
- Never run cables outside the car or near moving parts, as this can damage insulation, cause short circuits, and lead to fire.
- Install the amplifier in areas where the temperature ranges from 0°C (32°F) to 55°C (131°F). Ensure good air circulation. Horizontal installation is recommended.
- The amplifier may heat up to 80°C (176°F) during operation. Ensure it is not overheated before touching.
- Periodically clean the heatsink from dust to improve cooling. Do not use strong solvents or compressed air. Clean with damp towels or cloth.
- Ensure the amplifier's location does not interfere with the vehicle's mechanical or electrical devices.
- Ensure power cables are not short-circuited during battery installation and connection.
- When performing drilling or cutting, ensure no wiring, brake lines, fuel pipes, or other structural elements are present. Follow safety rules and use protective glasses and gloves.
- Use rubber gaskets to protect wires passing through holes in plates, or similar materials if wires are near heat-exposed parts.
- Secure all cables along their entire length. Ensure their outer protective shell is non-combustible. Use clamping screws to secure positive and negative cables to the amplifier terminals.
- Select power cable diameter according to amplifier power and recommendations. Use copper crimp terminals pressed with a hydraulic press and securely fixed to the battery terminals.
- Keep the amplifier in its original packaging prior to installation to avoid accidental damage.
- Use high-quality copper speaker and power cables.
CAUTION! High sound pressure can damage your health! Please use common sense when controlling volume!
3. Typical Installation Sequence
- Before installing, disconnect the battery from the electrical system.
- Run the power cable from the battery to the amplifier's installation location. Select the power cable with appropriate AWG rating (see Table: Selection of the diameter of the power cables).
- Connect the power supply with correct polarity. Connect all (+) amplifier terminals to cables from the positive battery terminal and all (-) terminals to cables from the negative battery terminal.
- Place the fuse holder for each positive cable within 40 cm from the positive battery terminal. Connect one end of the power cable to the holder and the other end to the amplifier. Do not install the fuse(s) yet.
- Route all signal cables together and separately from power cables.
- Connect RCA input wires. The input signal power should be between 0.2V and 6V.
- Use special power cables for power wire supply.
- Fasten the amplifier securely in the vehicle. Disconnected components can cause serious damage. Avoid screwing the amplifier directly to metal to prevent signal distortions.
- After installation, check all wiring. Before installing fuses, disconnect the positive battery lead. Use a 12V 21W bulb to connect the positive lead to one contact of the bulb and the other contact to the positive battery terminal. If the bulb briefly lights up and goes out, the connection is correct. If it stays lit, there is an issue. This prevents damage from reverse polarity or sparks. Install the remaining fuses.
- To activate the amplifier, apply a +12V potential to the control input (REM IN) via a switch or the head unit's (HU) remote output (REMOTE OUT).
- The front panel LED indicator will turn blue when the amplifier is on. If it does not light up, refer to the "Possible faults and their solutions" section.
- Calibrate sound level by setting the source volume to 3/4 of maximum. Then, adjust the amplifier's sensitivity level until distortions are heard.

9. Possible Faults and Their Solutions
Deaf Bonce amplifiers are high-quality and technically perfect products. Problems often arise due to improper use, faulty connection of components, or lack of power supply.
- The amplifier does not turn on.
Solution: Check all contacts and the presence of 9-15V at the amplifier terminals. Verify that the control input "REM IN" receives a +12V potential. - Power turns on, but goes into protection (protection indicator lights up).
Solution: Check for a short circuit on the amplifier output connected to speakers or subwoofers. Ensure correct commutation of subwoofer voice coils. The rated impedance of the voice coils should not be lower than the amplifier's permissible load impedance. Check the amplifier's supply voltage (must be within 9-15V). - The amplifier turns on but goes into protection at high volume.
Solution: The amplifier may lack power. Ensure the alternator's rated current and battery capacity are sufficient. Check the amplifier for overheating and the load impedance. - The amplifier is turned on, but there is no sound from the speakers or subwoofer.
Solution: Check amplifier connections, the integrity of the interconnecting cable, the head unit, speakers, or subwoofer.
