Package Contents and Layout

The Carrera Mariokart Racing System features a figure-eight track layout, approximately 2.4 meters (7.87 ft) in length, with an overall footprint of 95 x 47 cm (3.12 x 1.54 ft).

Assembly Instructions

Assemble the track by connecting the track pieces according to the layout diagram. Ensure all connectors are securely fastened. Connect the power supply and battery pack to the track.

To install batteries, unscrew the battery pack cover, insert 4x "D" batteries observing correct polarity, replace the cover, and screw it shut.

Operating Instructions

Place the cars on the track. Use the hand controllers to operate the speed of the cars. Ensure the track and cars are clear of obstructions before operating.

Parental Guidance

Periodically check the battery case for damage. Use only the recommended battery type. Do not use more than one battery case. If damaged, discontinue use. Do not open speed controls. Unplug hand controllers during long interruptions in play.

Check track, vehicles, and parts regularly for damage. Repair or replace defective parts.

The set is designed for indoor use only. Keep liquids away from electrical connections.

Keep metal objects away from the track to prevent short circuits.

Keep the track away from delicate objects as cars may fly off at high speeds.

Avoid setting up the track on carpeted floors.

Always unplug hand controllers before cleaning or servicing the track. Do not use water, cleaning agents, solvents, or chemicals. Store the track dry and dust-free when not in use.

Ensure contact brushes are in good working order.

Do not hold or block cars while the engine is running to prevent overheating and engine damage.

Cars may leave the track at high speeds; this is a result of speed, not malfunction.

Do not operate the race track at face or eye level due to the risk of injury from ejected cars.

Small car parts (spoilers, mirrors) may detach or break; consider removing them before play for durability.

Technical Information

This set requires 4x batteries type "D" (not included).

Do not mix old and new batteries. Do not mix alkaline, standard (carbon-zinc), or rechargeable (nickel-cadmium) batteries.

Remove batteries when not in use or discharged. Do not dispose of batteries in fire; they may leak or explode.

Non-rechargeable batteries must not be recharged. Rechargeable batteries must be supervised by an adult and removed from the toy before charging.

Compatibility Note: Battery-operated Carrera Racing System parts are not compatible with the Carrera GO!!! System.
