Getting Started

Connecting to Different Devices
Connecting to Computers
Connect the E17K to your computer via USB. Ensure the E17K is selected as the default audio output device in your operating system's sound settings. For optimal high-resolution audio playback, configure your media player software to use WASAPI or ASIO output modes and select the FiiO E17K.
Connecting to Mobile Devices
For Android devices, use a USB OTG cable. Ensure your Android device supports USB audio output. For iOS devices, use the Apple Lightning to USB Camera Adapter along with a USB cable to connect to the E17K.
Using Digital Inputs
Connect external digital audio sources (like CD players or streamers) with coaxial or optical outputs to the corresponding input ports on the E17K using appropriate cables. Select the correct input source on the E17K.
Operation and Controls
The E17K features a straightforward control interface:
- Power Button: Press briefly to turn the device on or off. A long press may put it into standby mode.

Troubleshooting
- No Sound: Verify all cable connections are secure. Check that the volume is not muted or set too low. Ensure the correct input source is selected on the E17K.
- Device Not Recognized by Computer: Try using a different USB cable or a different USB port on your computer. Reinstall the FiiO drivers if necessary.
- Low Battery / Not Charging: Ensure the USB cable is properly connected to both the E17K and the power source. Allow sufficient time for charging.
- Audio Distortion: Lower the volume or disable any EQ/bass/treble boost settings if they are set too high.
