Quick Start Guide
Product Overview
The HomeSpot JY508 is a wireless neckband speaker designed for comfortable, hands-free audio. It features two main speaker units connected by a flexible band that rests around the neck.
Key Components:
- Left Unit (L): Contains the Volume Up / Next Song control.
- Right Unit (R): Contains the USB-C Charging Port, LED Indicator, Power On/Off / Play/Pause control, and Volume Down / Previous Song control.
Charging
To charge the speaker, connect the USB-C cable to the USB-C Charging Port on the right unit and to a power source. The LED indicator will show the charging status. ⚡
How to Wear
Place the neckband speaker around your neck, with the speaker units positioned comfortably near your ears.
Power On/Off
- To Power On: Press and hold the Power button for 2 seconds.
- To Power Off: Press and hold the Power button for 5 seconds.
Bluetooth Pairing
- Ensure the speaker is powered on. The LED indicator will blink blue, indicating it's ready for pairing.
- On your mobile device (phone, tablet, etc.), navigate to Bluetooth settings.
- Enable Bluetooth on your device.
- In the list of available devices, find and select "HomeSpot JY508-AV".
- Once connected, the LED indicator will show a slow blue blink, and your device will display "Connected".
Basic Controls
- Volume Up / Next Song: Short press the Volume + button for volume adjustment. Press and hold for 1 second to skip to the next track (⏭️).
- Volume Down / Previous Song: Short press the Volume - button for volume adjustment. Press and hold for 1 second to go to the previous track (⏮️).
- Play/Pause/Call Management: Press the Power/Play/Pause button once to play or pause music, or to answer/end a call (▶️ / ⏸️).
- Voice Assistant: Press and hold the Power/Play/Pause button for 2 seconds to activate your device's voice assistant.

Troubleshooting
Problems | Suggestions |
---|---|
How to reset the speaker? | Turn on the speaker, press and hold Volume+ and Volume- buttons for 10 seconds. The LED will be fast blinking blue after reset. |
Cannot pair the speaker with my mobile phone | Turn on the mobile phone before turning on the speaker. Enable the Bluetooth feature on your mobile phone. |
Mobile phone cannot discover the speaker | Remove the previous pairing record on the mobile phone, then re-do the pairing. Reset the speaker. |
Poor audio quality | Reduce the distance and remove obstacles between the speaker and the paired mobile device. |
Speaker cannot be switched on | The battery level is too low; charge the speaker with the included charging cable. |
