Package Contents

The package includes the following items:

Product Overview

The HomeSpot Bluetooth Adapter Set consists of a Bluetooth Receiver and a Bluetooth Transmitter, designed for high-quality wireless audio streaming.

Bluetooth Receiver Components:

The receiver is a compact, rectangular device with rounded edges. Indicators R1, R2, and R3 are visible on the top surface. The R4 button is on the front, and the R5 audio output and R6 power port are on the back.

Bluetooth Transmitter Components:

The transmitter is also a compact, rectangular device. Indicators T1, T2, T3, and T4 are on the top surface. Ports T5, T6, T7, and the T8 switch are located on the side or back.

Qualcomm aptX Audio

The Bluetooth Adapter Set supports the following streaming codecs for enhanced audio quality:

The transmitter's (T2) Pairing Indicator is typically on during these modes.

Setting Up

The Bluetooth Receiver and Transmitter are pre-paired at the factory and will auto-connect upon initial power-up.

Connection Steps:

  1. Connect the Bluetooth Transmitter to your audio source (e.g., TV, DVD player) using a 3.5mm, RCA, or Optical TOSLINK audio cable.
  2. Connect the Bluetooth Receiver to the audio input of your sound system (e.g., speakers, amplifier) using a 3.5mm or RCA audio cable. Consult your audio/video system's manual for specific connection details.
  3. Connect both the Bluetooth Receiver and Bluetooth Transmitter to a power source (e.g., via USB cables and power adapter).

Important Notes for Setup:

Start Streaming & Auto-Reconnect

Once powered on, the Bluetooth Receiver and Transmitter will automatically connect. A low tone will play, and the receiver's (R1) and (R3) indicators will turn on. The transmitter is then ready to stream audio.

Auto-Reconnect: Upon powering up, the adapter set attempts to reconnect. If reconnection fails, the receiver enters standby mode, indicated by a slowly blinking (R1) indicator. Pressing the (R4) Pairing Button will switch the receiver to Pairing Mode. If the transmitter is in standby (T2 indicator blinks blue every 3 seconds) or OFF mode, pressing the (T1) button will initiate reconnection to the last paired device. The (T2) indicator will turn on once paired and connected.

Factory Reset

Resetting the adapter set clears all previous pairing records.

Bluetooth Receiver Factory Reset:

  1. Power on the Bluetooth Receiver.
  2. Disconnect any paired mobile devices.
  3. Press and hold the (R4) Pairing Button for 3 seconds until a "Reset Successful" voice prompt is heard.
  4. Remove the power connection.
  5. All pairing records are cleared. The receiver will enter Pairing Mode upon the next power-up.

Bluetooth Transmitter Factory Reset:

  1. Power off the Bluetooth Transmitter.
  2. Press and hold the (T1) Multifunction Button for 3 seconds until the LED goes off.
  3. Press and hold the (T1) Multifunction Button for 10 seconds. The (T2) Indicator will blink blue three times. The unit will then enter pairing mode, with (T2) and (T4) indicators blinking alternately. All previously paired records will be deleted.

Pairing

Bluetooth Receiver Pairing Steps:

  1. The Bluetooth Receiver enters Pairing Mode after a factory reset.
  2. The (R1) and (R2) Indicators will flash alternately.
  3. On your Bluetooth A2DP-enabled mobile device, activate Bluetooth and search for "HomeSpot aptX BTR XX" (where "XX" is a two-digit identifier) and select to pair.
  4. Once paired and connected, a low tone will play, and the (R1) Indicator will turn on.
  5. The receiver is now ready to stream audio from your mobile device.
  6. If your device supports AAC, the (R2) Indicator will be on during audio streaming. If it supports aptX or aptX Low Latency, the (R3) Indicator will be on.

Bluetooth Transmitter Pairing Steps:

  1. Ensure your Bluetooth audio receiving device (e.g., Bluetooth Receiver) is powered on and in pairing mode.
  2. On its first use, the Bluetooth Transmitter will automatically be in pairing mode, with (T2) and (T4) Indicators blinking rapidly.
  3. The Bluetooth Transmitter will search for and connect to the closest Bluetooth audio receiving device in pairing mode.
  4. If pairing is successful, the (T2) Pairing Indicator will turn on.

High / Low Volume Button

The High/Low Volume switch (T8) on the Bluetooth Transmitter allows adjustment of the audio transmission volume.

  1. It is recommended to first try adjusting the volume from your audio/video system or the connected Bluetooth audio receiving device.
  2. If the volume output is still too high, too low, or if audible distortion is noticed, switch the (T8) button to your desired level.

Notes

  1. Place the Bluetooth Transmitter within 1 meter of the Bluetooth Receiver/receiving devices during the pairing process.
  2. The pairing mode lasts for 2 minutes. If no devices connect within this time, the transmitter enters standby mode, with the (T2) indicator blinking blue every 3 seconds.
  3. If pairing fails, switch off the Bluetooth Transmitter and repeat the pairing steps.
  4. The Bluetooth Transmitter saves up to 2 device pairing records. Only these previously paired devices will automatically reconnect when the transmitter is powered on.
  5. When a third device is paired, the first device's pairing record will be removed.
  6. The internal antenna of the Bluetooth Transmitter is fine-tuned for a wide operating range. With an unobstructed line of sight and no radio interference, it can achieve a transmission range of 10-20 meters.
  7. Avoid surrounding the Bluetooth Transmitter with metallic objects or placing it behind electronic appliances, as this can severely reduce transmission performance. Ensure there are no obstacles (walls, corners, partitions, etc.) between the Transmitter and Receiver.
