Step 4: Tonearm Setup
Follow the diagrams to correctly set up the tonearm. This involves balancing the tonearm and setting the tracking force.
Diagram Description: A sequence of images showing the tonearm being moved from its rest, balanced, and the stylus guard removed.
Step 5: Balancing the Tonearm
Careful! Adjust the counterweight until the tonearm floats parallel to the platter. The indicator should be at zero.
Diagram Description: Shows the tonearm balanced horizontally and an indicator on the counterweight.
Step 6: Setting Tracking Force

Step 10: Connecting to Audio System
Connect the turntable's audio outputs (PHONO OUT or LINE OUT) to your amplifier or active speakers. If using PHONO OUT, ensure your amplifier has a phono input or use an external phono pre-amplifier. If using LINE OUT, you can connect directly to a standard AUX input.
Diagram Description: Shows two connection scenarios: one to an amplifier via PHONO OUT, and another to active speakers via LINE OUT.
Step 11: Ground Connection
Connect the ground wire from the turntable to the ground terminal on your amplifier or pre-amplifier to reduce hum.
