Battery Charging (Hydro Racers)
The Hydro Racers have a built-in, non-replaceable 1.2V 120mAh NIMH rechargeable battery.
CAUTION: If the rechargeable battery leaks fluid, dispose of the boat immediately. Avoid contact with skin or eyes.
- Ensure the boat is powered off and not in water before charging.
- Rotate the helmet anticlockwise to remove it. Insert the USB-C cable into the port as shown in the illustration. Do not use excessive force.
- Charging Methods:
- Connect the USB-C cable from the remote control to the boat's USB socket.
- Insert the USB-C cable into the boat's port and the other end into an AC wall adapter (not included).
- The red LED indicator near the port turns on while charging and off when fully charged.
- Average charging time is approximately 40 minutes (via 5.0V/2A USB wall charger).
- The boat will slow down significantly in low-battery mode.
- The boat runs for up to 10 minutes when fully charged.
PLAY
Track Setup
- Inflate the pool raceway and fill with water to just above the air valve in the center track divider (approx. 2.5 inches).
- Ensure all portions of the raceway are inflated, including outer and inner walls.

Pairing
Hydro Racers use an automatic 2.4GHz digital channel selection system for up to 10 players to race simultaneously without interference.
For Solo Players
- Ensure both remote control and boat are off.
- Turn on the remote control by rotating the power switch clockwise. The LED indicator will flash slowly.
- Place the boat in water.
- The boat and remote control will automatically pair when activated.
- The remote control LED will stop flashing when successfully paired.
- If pairing fails within 60 seconds, turn off the remote, remove the boat from water, and repeat steps 1-4.
- If unused for 5+ minutes, both will enter sleep mode and need restarting.
For Multiple Players
- Power off all boats and controls.
- Sync each boat and remote control one by one, following the Solo Players steps.
- IMPORTANT: Keep each boat on after syncing until all players have completed the process.
- If syncing issues occur, all players should turn off controls, remove boats from water, and restart.
Boat Controls
The remote control has two joysticks. The left joystick controls forward/reverse direction. The right joystick controls left/right direction.
Troubleshooting
- The LED indicator on the remote control turns solid when paired. If it continues to pulse, refer to pairing instructions.
- Hydro Racers must be in water to function. Water sensors on the bottom detect submersion and stop motor operation.
