Intended Service
Fire Alarm Control Panel (FACP) for use on ABS classed marine vessels & offshore installations.
Product Description
The NFS2-3030 is an intelligent Fire Alarm Control Panel (FACP) designed for medium to large size facilities. It supports up to 3,180 intelligent addressable devices across one to ten Signaling Line Circuits (SLCs). This FACP can be networked with other FACPs in the Onyx series, such as the NFS2-640 and NFS-320.
The system comprises a control panel within a marine-rated cabinet, which can include internally mounted batteries or a separate battery cabinet. It also supports annunciators, modules, accessories, initiating devices, and notification devices as listed in the Marine Equipment Kit, Marine-EQ Systems Product Installation Document (P/N 54756:B4, dated 23 April 2019).
For detailed System Capacity & Specifications, refer to Notifier documents LS10006-051NF-E_E5, 52482-M6, LS10106-000NF-E_A, and 53128-A.

Service Restrictions
Unit Certification is not required for this product. If the manufacturer or purchaser requests an ABS Certificate for compliance with a specification or standard, that specification or standard, including inspection standards and tolerances, must be clearly defined.
- For use on US Flagged vessels, the Fire Alarm Control Panel and associated components must be selected from the component list approved by the USCG.
- Devices for areas requiring exceptional degrees of protection (e.g., wet/damp locations like galleys, machinery spaces, cargo spaces) include specific backboxes (BBS-2, BBSC-2, BBSCW-2, BBSW-2, SA-WBB, SA-WBBC, SA-WBBCW, SA-WBBW), all bases, manual pull stations, chimes/horns/strobes, control modules (FCM-1, FDRM-1, XP6-C, XP6-R, FCM-1-Rel), relay modules (FRM-1, EOLR-1), monitor modules (FDM-1, FMM-1, FMM-101, FMM-4-20, XP10-M, FZM-1), and loop fault isolator modules (ISO-X).
