The MS-775 Network Interface for SAFE Alert Extender is a fully integrated networked paging interface, perfect for audio in small rooms. This amplifier has network-based intercom, paging, and emergency notification. It is easy-to-use, easy-to-install, and features an intuitive user interface. The entire unit utilizes Power over Ethernet+ (PoE+) and supports full duplex SIP communications. When used in conjunction with an Uninterruptible Power Supply (UPS), paging can still be heard during power outages and emergencies. This unit can be installed as part of the EPIC (Education Paging & Intercom Communications) System®, SAFE (Signal Alert For Education) System®, or integrated with other systems.
Product Overview and Connections
The rear panel of the MS-775 Network Interface features several connection ports:
- PoE+ Ethernet: Supports Power over Ethernet+ for power and data. Includes PoE Activity indicator.
- RmtCtrl Port: For integration with LCD wall plate control, RJ45 connector.
- Reboot/Factory Default: Button for rebooting or resetting the unit. Press to reboot, hold to default.
- Discrete Outputs 3 and 4: Balanced audio outputs.
- USB Port: For control and configuration via software or BLE dongle.
- WPA-70x Port: RJ45 connector for specific Audio Enhancement peripherals.
- Speaker Out: Connection for speakers.
- Unit Status: LED indicators for Ready Status and Activity Status.
- GPIO Status: General Purpose Input/Output ports.
Port Descriptions:
- PoE+ Ethernet: PoE Activity, Service (Press to reboot, Hold to default).
- RmtCtrl Port (T568B): 1 (wo) Audio Out+, 2 (o) Audio Out-, 3 (wg) RS-232 Tx, 4 (b) +24 V DC, 5 (wb) GND, 6 (g) RS232 Rx, 7 (wbr) Mic In+, 8 (br) Mic In-.
- WPA-70x Port (T568B): 1 (wo) Mic In+, 2 (o) Mic In-, 3 (wg) GPI 1, 4 (b) +24 V DC, 5 (wb) GND, 6 (g) GPI 2, 7 (wbr) GPO 1, 8 (br) GPO 2.
- Discrete Inputs 3 and 4: Balanced audio inputs.

- Unit Status: LEDs for Ready, Activity.
