General Safety Instructions
Read this instruction manual carefully before operation to fully familiarize yourself with its use. Improper operation can cause a hazard. However, the instructions in this manual do not replace standards or additional regulations (not even statutory) issued for safety reasons.
Specific Safety Precautions
- All adjustment knobs/screws must be tightened before use.
- Do not overload! Maintain the maximum load of 800 kg.
- During operation, safety shoes with steel toe caps and, if necessary, other recommended safety equipment suitable for use in this work area should be worn. Work in a focused manner and minimize distractions. Always make sure that the material is safe and stable on the rollers.
- When placing heavy material, only two people should do this together. Be sure to follow all relevant safety instructions for the operation in which you use the device.
Assembly Instructions
- Place the base (1) upright on the floor as shown in the exploded drawing.
- Connect the outer sleeve (2) to the base: Insert the sleeve (2) into the central opening of the base. If necessary, loosen the sleeve retaining bolt to ensure that the sleeve is firmly in contact with the lip at the bottom of the central opening. Secure the sleeve to the base by tightening the retaining bolt.
- Install the height adjustment tube (4): Loosen the clamp on the outer sleeve (2) by turning the clamping screw (3) counterclockwise; then push the tube (4) into the outer sleeve (2). Hold the tube at the desired height and tighten the clamp by turning the clamp screw clockwise.
- Attach the roller head (5-9) to the top of the height adjustment tube: Slide the roller head to the upper end of the height adjustment tube. It may be necessary to loosen the retaining bolt of the roller head. Secure the roller head to the pipe by tightening the retaining bolt.
- Adjust the height of the roller head (Stand-H model roller stands require manual height adjustment):
- a. Loosen the clamping screw (3);
- b. Adjust the height of the roller as desired;
- c. Tighten the clamping screw.
Maintenance
- Clean them with a damp cloth after each operation.
- Oil all connecting and moving parts with light machine oil at regular intervals.
- Avoid storing them outdoors or in an environment with high humidity.
Disposal
This old equipment can be handed in to a disposal point, where it is disposed of in accordance with the national Circular Economy and Waste Act. The device and its accessories are made of a wide variety of materials. Defective components must be treated as hazardous waste and disposed of in accordance with legal requirements. The packaging is made of raw materials and can therefore be reused or taken to a collection point. ♻️
