CAMERA OVERVIEW

The following components are part of the KingSlim D1 Pro Dash Cam:

Note: Short pressing the power button can switch between viewing the front camera, the inside camera, or both simultaneously.

INSTALLATION

1. Insert the memory card into the Memory Card Slot (6).
2. Peel off the protective film from the suction cup.
3. Use the provided crowbar to gently remove the nameplate covering the bracket slot. Insert the bracket into the slot on the camera.
4. Clean the windshield with a dry cloth. Firmly press the suction cup onto the windshield, ensuring no air is trapped inside. Rotate the bracket to secure it. (Important: Ensure the rearview mirror does not obstruct the camera's infrared light.)
5. Adjust the viewing angle of the dash cam to achieve the best possible view of the road.
6. Connect the car charger to the car's cigarette lighter socket. Plug the USB end of the charger cable into the dash camera's Mini USB Power Port (1).
7. Attach the electrostatic sticker to the top edge of the windshield. Mount the GPS module onto the sticker.
8. Use the provided cable clips to secure the USB power cable along the windshield edge. Use the yellow crowbar to tuck the cable neatly out of sight.

FORMATTING THE MEMORY CARD

For optimal compatibility, the memory card should be formatted on a computer first, and then formatted again within the camera. If the card is not formatted, the camera screen will display "Insert memory card". The dash cam supports memory cards up to 128GB with Class 10 or higher speed rating.

1. Format the memory card on your computer.
2. Insert the formatted card into the camera. Turn on the camera. Press the [Power Button] to stop recording if it starts automatically.
3. Press the [Set Button] to enter the settings menu. Use the [Up/Down Arrows] to navigate and press the [OK Button] to select "Setup".
4. Navigate to the "Format" option using the [Left/Right Arrows]. Press the [OK Button] to enter the format interface. Select "OK" and press the [OK Button] again to begin formatting. The interface will return to the setup menu upon completion.

Note:

• Formatting will erase all data on the memory card. Back up important data before proceeding.
• Always format the memory card in the camera after inserting it to ensure compatibility.

DOWNLOAD THE APP AND GPS PLAYER

Download the "RoadCam" mobile application from the App Store or Google Play.

The GPS player can be downloaded from: www.kingslim.net/player

Note: Before installing the player, disable your computer's anti-virus software or click "allow" when prompted by the security software.

USE THE "ROADCAM" APP

CONNECT WITH THE APP

1. Long press the [Wifi Button] on the camera to activate the Wi-Fi settings.
2. On your smartphone, go to Wi-Fi settings and connect to the network named "DVR74ee2aad313d" using the password "12345678".
3. Open the "RoadCam" app on your smartphone. Tap "Add Recorder" and wait a few moments for the preview interface to load.
4. Use the on-screen video or photo icons to control the dash cam, allowing you to record videos or capture photos.

DOWNLOAD OR DELETE VIDEOS AND PHOTOS

1. Tap the [Stop Recording Icon] to end the current recording.
2. Tap the [Video Icon] or [Photo Icon] to browse recorded videos and photos.
3. Tap the "Select" button to choose multiple files.
4. Tap the [Download Icon] or [Delete Icon] to download or remove selected files.

Note: To exit the Wi-Fi connection, press the power button on the dash cam.
