Getting Started
The JS80 was designed and developed in Perth, Australia, featuring an ultra-safe design with seven safety features, including spark-proof technology and reverse polarity protection. It offers a smart, secure, and straightforward way to start a vehicle.
Before operating the JS80, read and understand this user guide. The JS80 is suitable only for 12V batteries. Fully charge the JS80 upon receipt. To maintain its longevity and effectiveness, keep it fully charged. Do not leave the JS80 connected to the charger once it reaches 100%. The JS80 can hold its charge for up to six months. Check the state of charge every 2-3 months and recharge if necessary. Avoid leaving the JS80 in an uncharged state (0%) for more than three days.
Under normal circumstances, the JS80 will jump-start a vehicle instantly. A single full charge can provide numerous jump starts. The JS80 is equipped with fast-charging USB ports, a USB-C port, a 12V output port, and a 500 lumens tactical flashlight.
Jump Starting
Before connecting the JS80 to a vehicle's battery, ensure that both the battery and vehicle are 12V. The JS80 is not suitable for 24V+ vehicles. Typically, the positive terminal is marked red (+) and the negative terminal is marked black (-).
Important: Do not make any connections to carburetors, fuel lines, or sheet metal parts.
- Locate the "12V OUT" section on the JS80 and open the orange rubber flap.
- Insert the Heavy Duty clamps into the "12V OUT" section.
- Ensure that all vehicle power loads are turned off (e.g., headlights, radio, air conditioning).
- Connect the Heavy Duty clamps to the corresponding battery terminals: positive to positive (+) and negative to negative (-).
- Press the start button on the face of the JS80. If connected correctly, the start button will illuminate green.
- Start the vehicle.
- If the vehicle does not start, wait 30 seconds and repeat from step 5. Do not attempt more than five jump starts within a fifteen-minute period.
- Once the vehicle starts, disconnect the JS80 and Heavy Duty clamps.

State of Charge
The JS80 features four charge LEDs: 25%, 50%, 75%, and 100%. These LEDs indicate the state of charge (SOC) of the internal battery. The charging time will vary based on the discharge level and the power supply used.
Charging times:
- 5V 2A: 10 hours
- 9V 2A: 6 hours
- 12V 1.5A: 6 - 8 hours
- 12V 3A: 3 - 4 hours
- 20V 1.5A: 4 - 6 hours
- 20V 3A: 2 - 3 hours

Charging
The JS80 charges via its PD port. The kit includes all necessary equipment. Refer to the "In the Box" section for accessory details.
Charging Method 1 (Wall Charger):
- Locate the PD port on the JS80 and open the orange rubber flap.
- Connect one end of the USB-C to USB-C cable to the JS80's PD Port.
- Connect the other end of the USB-C to USB-C cable to the PD Port on the 18W 240V charger (wall charger).
- Plug the 18W 240V charger into a 240V mains power supply to begin charging.
Charging Method 2 (Car Charger):
- Locate the PD port on the JS80 and open the orange rubber flap.
- Connect one end of the USB-C to USB-C cable to the JS80's PD Port.
- Connect the other end of the USB-C to USB-C cable to the PD Port on the 12V car charger.
- Plug the 12V car charger into a 12V power supply to begin charging.

Energy Saving
The JS80 features energy-saving modes. If either USB port has a load of less than 80mA for 30 seconds, the power button's light will turn off, but the output remains active. To turn the JS80 off completely, press and hold the power button.
If the 12V DC load is less than 170mA for 30 minutes, the power button's light and the DC port will turn off. If the 12V DC load is greater than 170mA for 30 minutes, the power button's light will turn off, but the output will remain on. To turn the JS80 off completely, press and hold the power button.

Charge & Discharge
The JS80 features pass-through charging, allowing it to charge and discharge simultaneously. It can be charging via a vehicle's 12V cigarette socket while simultaneously running a 12V fridge. If the car stops, the JS80 will continue to power the 12V fridge. When the car restarts, the JS80 will resume charging.
The JS80 can power a small inverter (up to 200W) if the inverter has a 12V cigarette male adapter. Connecting an inverter allows the JS80 to power 240V appliances, such as laptops, transforming it into a compact lithium power station.
