2. Cable
The integrated cable utilizes a custom helix design, known as minZ™. This design minimizes both capacitance and inductance. The minZ™ helix construction also provides intrinsic shielding, protecting the cable from Radio Frequency Interference (RFI) and Electromagnetic Interference (EMI), ensuring a clean signal transfer medium.
4. Audio Signal Output (4.4mm Female Socket)
This is the headphone output port for connecting your headphones or IEMs.
iEMatch4.4 Functionality
The iEMatch4.4 allows you to adjust the desired volume 'on-the-go', ensuring a safe and comfortable listening level. It helps in reducing background noise and maximizing audio dynamics, especially with sensitive headphones.
Sensitivity Settings
The device offers two sensitivity settings:
- High: For high-sensitivity headphones. This setting reduces gain by -12dB.
- Ultra: For ultra-sensitivity headphones. This setting reduces gain by -24dB.
Users are encouraged to experiment with both settings to determine the best listening level for their specific headphones and personal preferences.
Important Note: When using the iEMatch4.4, you can increase the volume on your music source significantly. In extreme cases, this might cause the source's internal amplifier to enter 'clipping mode', leading to unwanted audio distortion. If this occurs, please reduce the volume on your source device or select a lower sensitivity level on the iEMatch4.4.
