KVM Technology OVER IP - different possibilities with Gateway2GO
This section describes various KVM over IP network configurations:
Scenario 1: Matrix Switching System with standard 16/10G Switch
Work Stations are connected via a local IP network to a central switching system, which then connects to the Server Room.
Scenario 2: Decentralized Matrix with 100 Haponks
This setup suggests a decentralized approach to matrix switching.
Scenario 3: Matrix Switching System for larger systems
Illustrates a network structure designed for scaling to larger systems.
Scenario 4: LAN System plus WAN over router and Gateway2GO for remote workplaces
Work Stations connect via a local IP network to a router. The router connects to the WAN, establishing a VPN tunnel. The Gateway2GO is integrated into this VPN connection, enabling remote workplaces to access PCs within the Matrix Switching System. This configuration requires approximately 70Mbit bandwidth for remote access.
Windows App for live pictures from the Switching System & Remote Workplaces
The Gateway2GO facilitates a flexible connection to the local KVM-TEC switching system and enables remote workplaces to connect. It features an innovative user application that operates in real-time for performant laptop or desktop devices running Windows 10.
In a local switching system, the performance reaches up to 60 frames per second (fps) without any delay. A special bandwidth management feature reduces the required bandwidth. The Gateway2GO connects to the internet via a VPN tunnel, allowing remote users to connect to any PC within the Matrix Switching System from their remote locations.
