Argox I4 / DX / X Series Cutter Installation Guide

Important Notes

• Except for the new full cutter, all other cutters do not cut on media with glue. For more details, please refer to the cutter specification in the user's manual.
• Specifications, accessories, parts, and programs are subject to change without notice.

Installation Instructions

Follow these steps to install the cutter accessory onto your Argox I4, DX, or X Series printer.

1. Begin the installation process.
2. Orient the cutter unit by rotating it 90 degrees.
3. Remove two screws (x2) from the unit's exterior.
4. Open the printer's top cover.
5. Remove three screws (x3) from the internal mechanism.
6. Carefully extract the cutter assembly from its housing.
7. Locate the designated hole for cable routing.
8. Connect the cutter cable, noting two connection points (x2).
9. Route the connected cables neatly.
10. Secure the cutter assembly in place using five screws (x5).
11. Guide the cutter cable and peeler cable through the identified hole.
12. For I4 / DX Series: Connect the Cutter Connector to the Baby Board. For X Series: Perform the same connection.
13. Further secure the assembly by fastening five screws (x5).
14. Fasten two screws (x2) at the extreme left and right sides of the assembly.
15. Complete the securing process with final screw placements.
16. Steps 15-19 illustrate the final stages, including closing the printer cover and showing the fully installed cutter mechanism.
