Installation Procedure

  1. Step 1: START. Rotate the printer 90 degrees [rotation].

  2. Step 2: Remove two screws [x2] from the printer's rear panel.

  3. Step 3: Open the printer's main cover.

  4. Step 4: Detach the rear cover.

  5. Step 5: Remove two screws [x2] from the bottom of the printer.

  6. Step 6: Remove the bottom cover.

  7. Step 7: Locate the designated hole [hole] for the cutter cable. Note that the peeler cable also passes through this hole.

  8. Step 8: Remove two screws [x2] from the side of the printer.

  9. Step 9: Remove five screws [x5] securing the side cover.

  10. Step 10: Remove the side cover.

  11. Step 11: Connect the cutter cable [cutter cable] to the cutter connector [cutter connector].

  12. Step 12: Detail view of the cutter connector [cutter connector].

  13. Step 13: Connect the ground wire [ground wire].

  14. Step 14: Reattach the side cover.

  15. Step 15: Reinstall five screws [x5] to secure the bottom cover.

  16. Step 16: Reinstall two screws [x2] to secure the bottom cover.

  17. Step 17: Reinstall two screws [x2] to secure the rear panel.

  18. Step 18: Attach the cutter unit to the printer.

  19. Step 19: Secure the cutter unit with two screws [x2].

  20. Step 20: Feed the cutter cable [cutter cable] through the designated hole [hole].

  21. Step 21: Close the printer cover. Ensure screws are fastened at the utmost left and right sides.
