SNL3 SERIES INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS
WARNING:
- DISCONNECT POWER BEFORE BEGINNING INSTALLATION.
- FIXTURE MUST BE INSTALLED IN COMPLIANCE WITH THE NATIONAL ELECTRIC CODE AND ANY LOCAL CODES.
- TO BE INSTALLED ONLY BY A QUALIFIED ELECTRICIAN.
- RISK OF FIRE, USE A MINIMUM OF 90 DEG C SUPPLY CONDUCTORS.
INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS:
- Mount step light housing to building structure via housing mounting screws or hanger bars. See detail A & B.
- Position LED module near housing. See detail A.
- Connect step light hot, neutral, and ground conductors to matching building conductors.
- Secure step light LED module and trim to trim mounting screws, allen wrench provided. See detail A.
- Install trim mounting screw cover caps. See detail A.

Detail A: Assembly Components
This section illustrates the assembly of the SNL3 step light. It shows the main HOUSING, the LED MODULE that fits inside it, and the TRIM piece that attaches to the front. Fasteners include TRIM MOUNTING SCREW and HOUSING MOUNTING SCREW. A COVER CAP is provided to conceal the trim mounting screws. A REMOVABLE PLUG is also depicted, likely for electrical connections or access.
Detail B: Mounting Hardware
This section details the mounting hardware. It shows the HOUSING and the U-2 HANGER BAR. The U-2 Hanger Bar is designed to mount the fixture to either metal or wooden framing. The diagram indicates that mounting hardware for the hanger bar itself is to be supplied by others.
