Quick Installation Guide

Installation Wiring Flow

Installation

Mounting: Mount the inverter on a wall. Ensure minimum clearances: 300mm (top/bottom), 600mm (sides), 500mm (front). Inverter dimensions: 530mm (Height) x 413mm (Width) x 211mm (Depth). Weight: 19kg. Maximum tilt angle: 15°.

DC Input (MPPT) Connections: Connect PV strings to the DC input terminals. Recommended PV string connection: Single string per MPPT or two strings per MPPT. MPPT3 is available for specific models: GW25K-SDT-CN-G41, GW30K-SDT-CN-G40, GW33K-SDT-CN-G40. Maximum DC voltage: 1100V. Recommended DC cable size: Copper (Cu), 4-6mm².

AC Output Connections: Connect AC output terminals (L1/L2/L3, N/PE). For Copper (Cu) cables: L1/L2/L3 require 16-25mm²; N/PE require 16-25mm². Stripping length for L1/L2/L3: 45-50mm. Stripping length for N/PE: 75-80mm. For Aluminum (Al) cables: L1/L2/L3 require 25-35mm²; N/PE require 25-35mm². Stripping length for L1/L2/L3: 45-50mm. Stripping length for N/PE: 75-80mm.

Grounding Connection: Connect the PE terminal to the grounding system. Recommended grounding cable size: Copper (Cu), 10mm² or Aluminum (Al), 16-25mm². Stripping length for Cu: 65-70mm. Stripping length for Al: 4.4-7mm.

Communication Ports: Connect communication cables to the designated ports. Torque specifications for terminals: M5 C1.2-2N·m, M6 C2-3N·m, M4 C0.5-0.8N·m.

Communication Connection Types

Type A: Protocol Converter

Connect the protocol converter to the COM port. Use shielded twisted pair cable suitable for outdoor use and meeting local standards. Torque: M2 C0.2-0.3N·m.

Type B: Protocol Converter + Meter

Connect the protocol converter and meter to the COM port. Use shielded twisted pair cable suitable for outdoor use and meeting local standards. Torque: M2 C0.2-0.3N·m.

Type C: Parallel Connection + Data Logger (EzLogger3000C/SEC3000)

Connect multiple inverters (up to 20) in parallel using a protocol converter and data logger. Configure DIP switches for master/slave communication. RS485 wiring: Connect RS485_A1 to A1 and RS485_B1 to B1 for inverter 1, and similarly for subsequent inverters. Connect meter to COM port. Use shielded twisted pair cable. Torque: M3 C0.7-0.9N·m.

DIP Switch Settings

Single unit operation: Set DIP switches to OFF. Parallel operation: Set the first inverter's switches to ON and subsequent inverters' switches to OFF.

Monitoring Options

Monitoring is available via the SolarGo App, Xiaogu YunChuang App, or Xiaogu YunChuang Web.

Inverter MPPT Count

Inverters GW25K-SDT-CN-G41, GW30K-SDT-CN-G40, GW33K-SDT-CN-G40 are equipped with 3 MPPTs. Other models are equipped with 2 MPPTs.
