Introduction
The Altronix FireSwitch108 is a versatile and cost-effective managed NAC Power Extender. It is designed to interface with 12 or 24VDC Fire Alarm Control Panels (FACPs) to expand Notification Appliance Circuit (NAC) capabilities, supporting additional horns and strobes to ensure ADA compliancy. This device also provides auxiliary power for system accessories.
It delivers electronically regulated and filtered 24VDC power to Class B or Class A NAC loop circuits. Additionally, a separate 1 amp auxiliary output is available for 4-wire smoke detectors. The alarm current can be divided among the eight (8) outputs, with each output rated at a maximum of 2.5 amps. Outputs can be independently programmed for Steady, Temporal Code 3, or Strobe Synchronization modes. The FireSwitch108 also features an LCD display interface and an Ethernet port for remote programmability and monitoring.
