Safety Precautions & Warnings

As with any electrical appliance, basic safety precautions must be followed to reduce the risk of fire, electrical shock, or injury to persons or property. Be sure to read all instructions before using this appliance and observe the following safety tips:

  1. The refrigerant of this product is flammable, and the maintenance process must pay attention to the source of the fire and keep the room ventilated. Please do not use flammable items near the machine to avoid fire.
  2. There should be no obstacles around the machine and the ventilation unobstructed.
  3. Do not use any machinery or other means to accelerate the defrosting process other than that recommended by the manufacturer.
  4. Do not damage the refrigeration circuit of the machine.
  5. The insulation material of the cabinet is EPS, which is flammable. Please keep it away from fire sources and prohibit burning. It is recommended to ask professionals to dispose of it.
  6. Do not store explosives, such as flammable aerosols, in the appliance.
  7. Fill with potable water only.
  8. The refrigeration system contains refrigerant under high pressure; the refrigeration system must not be damaged, and the maintenance of the refrigeration system should be carried out by professionals.
  9. If the supply cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer, its service agent, or similarly qualified persons to avoid a hazard.
  10. Do not operate this appliance if it has a damaged cord. Only connect the ice maker to a properly polarized outlet.
  11. Make sure the plug is fully inserted into the receptacle. An extension cord is not recommended, as it may overheat and become a fire risk.
  12. Do not place hands or objects on or near the ice maker's evaporator when it is in operation.

Before using this ice machine, it is highly recommended that you thoroughly clean the entire machine.

  1. Take out the ice basket.
  2. Open the drain plug to drain the water in the tank.
  3. Wipe the liner with diluted detergent, warm water, and a soft cloth.
  4. The exterior of the machine should be scrubbed frequently with diluted detergent and warm water.
  5. Dry the liner with another soft cloth.
  6. Close the drain plug.

When the machine is not used for a long time, the water in the inner tank should be drained and the inner tank should be wiped dry.

Operating Instruction (Before First Use)

  1. Remove all inner and outer packaging. Check for the ice basket, ice scoops, and if any accessories are missing, please contact customer service.
  2. Remove the ice basket and scrub in warm water, then clean the inside with warm water and a soft cloth.
  3. Clean the column of the evaporator with water.
  4. Place the ice maker out of direct sunlight and away from heat sources and radiation. Position the ice maker horizontally and ensure there is a gap of at least 15cm on both sides and the rear for ventilation.
  5. The location where the ice maker is placed should have a suitable outlet for power.

Operation Process

  1. Open the top cover, take out the ice basket, and add water to the water bladder to keep the water level below the maximum water level mark. Then, put the ice basket back and close the top cover.
  2. Press the "ON/OFF" key on the control panel to start making ice.
  3. Press the "Select" button to select the size of the ice cubes. If the room temperature is lower than 59°F (15°C), it is recommended that you choose small ice to prevent ice clumping.
  4. The duration of each ice-making cycle is 6 to 12 minutes, which depends on the size of the selected ice cubes and the room temperature. The size of the ice cubes is also related to the water temperature and ambient temperature. (Allow a little longer when making ice for the first time).
  5. After the ice machine is started, it is necessary to check the water level in the tank frequently. If the water pump fails to produce water, the ice machine will stop automatically, and the "add water" indicator light will illuminate to indicate water shortage. At this time, the water tank needs to be filled up, and then press the "ON/OFF" button to restart ice making.
  6. If the ice cubes in the ice basket are full, the ice-making will stop automatically, and the "ice full" light will illuminate. When the ice cube level drops below the infrared detection position, the machine will restart to work.
  7. It is recommended to change the water every 24 hours to keep the water clean. If the ice machine is not used for a long time, please empty the remaining water in the water tank.
  8. Automatic cleaning: In the case of the power light flashing, press and hold the ON/OFF button for 5 seconds. The 'S' and 'L' indicators will flash alternately, and the machine will start to clean automatically. The cycle lasts for 15 minutes. If you need to stop cleaning, manually press the ON/OFF button to end the process.

Advice: Use water that is directly potable.
