Diagram and Functions
The Segway SuperScooter features a comprehensive design with various components for operation and control.
Main Components:
- Handlebar: Houses controls for steering and operation.
- Stem: Connects the handlebar to the main body.
- Front Brake Lever: Controls the front brake.
- Rear Brake Lever: Controls the rear brake.
- Throttle: Twist grip to accelerate.
- Power Button: Turns the scooter on/off and wakes the display.
- Left/Right Control Switches: Used for mode switching, headlight control, cruise control, and turn signals.
- Horn Button: Activates the horn.
- Turn Signal Button: Activates left or right turn signals.
- Dashboard: Displays speed, battery level, mode, and other indicators.
- Front/Rear Shock Absorbers: Provide suspension for a smoother ride.
- Front/Rear Disc Brakes: Ensure effective braking.
- Front/Rear Hub Motors: Provide propulsion.
- Lights: Headlight, Daytime Running Light (DRL), Taillight & Brake Light, Ambient Light.
- Reflectors: Front, Rear, and Side reflectors for visibility.
- Charging Port: For recharging the battery.
- Footboard: Platform for the rider.
- Kickstand: For parking the scooter.
- Folding Mechanism: Allows the scooter to be folded for transport and storage.
- Safety Button: Associated with the folding mechanism.
- Quick Release Lever: Aids in the folding process.

Handlebar Functions
The handlebar is equipped with various controls:
- Throttle: Twist to accelerate.
- Power Button: Turns the scooter on/off and wakes the display.
- Right Control Switch: Used for mode switching, activating BOOST mode (GT2), and switching to WALK mode.
- Horn Button: Activates the horn.
- Left Control Switch: Used for turning headlights on/off, activating cruise mode, and switching between 1WD/2WD (GT2).
- Turn Signal Button: Activates left or right turn signals.

Dashboard Indicators
The dashboard provides real-time information about the scooter's status:
GT1 Dashboard Indicators:
- Speedometer: Displays current speed.
- Headlight (on/off): Indicates headlight status.
- Cruise Mode: Indicates cruise control is active.
- Lock: Indicates the scooter is locked via the app.
- Turn Signal Indicator: Shows active turn signals.
- POWER Progress Bar: Displays motor output power.
- Battery Level: Shows remaining battery charge.
- Bluetooth: Indicates connection to the Segway-Ninebot app.
- Warning Indicator: Alerts to potential issues.
GT2 Dashboard Indicators:
- Includes all GT1 indicators plus:
- SDTC OFF: Indicates Segway Dynamic Traction Control is off.
- 1WD/2WD: Shows current drive mode (one-wheel or two-wheel drive).
- BOOST Progress Bar: Displays remaining BOOST mode acceleration time.
- WALK Mode, PARK Mode, ECO Mode, SPORT Mode, RACE Mode: Indicate the selected speed mode.
- Charging Indicator: Shows when the scooter is charging.
- Remaining Mileage: Displays estimated distance until the battery is depleted.

Cruise Mode | Cruise Mode | Cruise mode is activated. | 1) In ECO, SPORT or RACE mode, press the Left Control Switch to turn on the cruise mode when the speed ≥ 3.1 mph (5 km/h). Once turned on, the scooter will cruise at the current speed. 2) Turn off the cruise mode with the following methods: Method 1: Twist the throttle or squeeze brake levers. Method 2: Press the Left Control Switch. Method 3: Switch the speed mode. ▲ DO NOT turn on the cruise mode in complex environments, bad weather or undesirable road conditions. Serious danger or injury may occur. |
Lock | Lock | Scooter is locked. | When the icon lights up, it means the scooter is locked. When the scooter is locked via the Segway-Ninebot app: 1) The screen will go dark in 3 seconds, at this point, press the Power Button to wake up the screen. 2) The scooter will sound the alarm with flashing lights when it is moved for 3 seconds. 3) The scooter will keep beeping when it is moved for 10 seconds, and if the scooter is moved again within 60 seconds, the beep will not stop. When the scooter is unlocked, it will automatically power off if there is no operation within 10 minutes. Note: Enable/Disable this feature via the Segway-Ninebot app. |

Speed Modes Introduction
The Segway SuperScooter offers multiple speed modes to suit different riding conditions:

Damper Adjustment
The scooter features adjustable front and rear dampers. The adjustment knobs allow for tuning the rebound resistance.
- Adjustment Icon: Indicates the location of the adjustment knob.
- Adjustment Knob: Turn clockwise for S (Slow rebound, increased resistance) or counterclockwise for F (Fast rebound, decreased resistance).
Note: The damper is set to the default position before leaving the factory. Adjust according to your riding habits.
