Handlebar Functions

Name Function Operation Method
Power Button Power on/off; Exit Park status Press to power on. Press and hold to power off. When in Park status, press to exit and switch to previous speed mode.
Left Control Switch Light mode switching; Enable/Disable Cruise Control; Confirm unlock password; Mode switching Rotate clockwise for light modes (Low Beam, High Beam, Auto Headlight, OFF). Press to enable/disable Cruise Control (at >= 3 mph/5 km/h). Press to confirm password entry and rotate to check entered passwords. Rotate to switch speed modes.
Right Control Switch Activate Ultra Boost Mode; Switch to Walk Mode When in Race mode, press to activate Ultra Boost. Press again or switch modes to exit Ultra Boost. When stopped, press and hold to switch to Walk Mode. Press and hold again to return to previous speed mode.
Throttle Speed up Twist to speed up.
Direction Indicator Button Turn on/off left/right direction indicator; Turn on/off emergency flashers Press to activate/deactivate left/right signal. Press and hold left or right signal button to turn on/off emergency flashers.
Horn Button Use horn Press and hold to sound the horn continuously.
Bell Use bell Press the button to use the bell.

Dashboard Indicators

Name Symbol Description
Speedometer Display current speed or status.
Headlight Modes Low Beam Mode: Low Beam Mode is on. High Beam Mode: High Beam Mode is on. Auto Headlight Mode: Auto Headlight Mode is enabled.
Direction Indicator Left direction Indicator: Left direction indicator is on. Right direction Indicator: Right direction indicator is on. (Sound can be enabled/disabled via app).
Emergency Flashers Emergency flashers are on.
Bluetooth SuperScooter is connected to the Segway-Ninebot App.
Time Display local time.
Power Progress Bar Motor output power.
Remaining Range Remaining range.
Trip Distance Riding distance of the current trip. (Can be set to ODO via app).
Battery Level Remaining battery level.
Cruise Control Cruise Control is enabled. (Cannot be enabled below 3 mph/5 km/h. Warning against use in complex environments/bad weather).
TCS (Traction Control System) TCS feature is off. (TCS disabled in Race Mode. Can be turned on/off via app).
Warning SuperScooter has errors. Error info and code appear on dashboard. Warning icon with error number pops up. (Refer to app for solutions).
Tire Pressure Reminder Tire pressure check reminder. (Symbol lights up every 3 months after app binding to remind user to check tire pressure. Can be disabled via app).

Note on Park Status: SuperScooter enters Park status after powering on or at speeds below 1.86 mph (3 km/h) for over 6s. The speedometer displays "P". Squeeze brake lever or press power button to exit Park status.

Note on Auto Headlight Mode: Headlight turns on/off based on ambient brightness. In Auto Headlight Mode, it switches between Low Beam and High Beam based on speed: Speed ≤ 25 mph (40 km/h) = Low Beam; Speed > 25 mph (40 km/h) = High Beam. It shifts back to Low Beam within 3s when speed drops below 25 mph (40 km/h). Auto Headlight Mode can be disabled via the Segway-Ninebot App.

Note on Ultra Boost: Can be activated in Race Mode by pressing the Right Control Switch once for extreme acceleration. It ends when the Ultra Boost Power Bar depletes, or by pressing the Right Control Switch again or switching modes.

Note on Walk Mode: Accessible only when fully stopped, with headlights on and unchangeable. Press and hold the Right Control Switch to enter/exit Walk Mode.
