Testing of the transmission properties of the patch cables (0.5 – 3.0 meters) was conducted in a 2-connector channel over a predefined transmission path of 24 meters, according to specifications for Class I up to 2 GHz per ANSI/TIA-568.2-D. Goobay also offers GHMT-certified Keystone modules and installation cables (up to 100 m) for a perfectly functioning CAT 8.1 cabling infrastructure.

Copper Conductor, LSZH Halogen-Free Cable Jacket
- LAN cables support 25GBase-T and 40GBase-T Ethernet networks (40-gigabit capable) and are backward compatible with 10BASE-T, 100BASE-TX, and 1000BASE-T.
- With a transmission bandwidth of up to 2,000 MHz, these Ethernet cables offer 4 times the bandwidth of CAT-6A cables.
- S/FTP overall shielding: Aluminum foil shielding for individual wire pairs (PiMF) and aluminum braid shielding for the cable jacket.
- Equipped with RJ45 connectors (8P8C) on both sides with 50 µm gold-plated contact surfaces and latch protection.
- CAT-8 LAN cables are suitable for Power over Ethernet (PoE, PoE+, UPoE, 4PPoE) and HDBaseT.
- Low-smoke and halogen-free LSZH cable jacket for increased safety.
