Goobay's latest generation of network cables offers high bandwidth up to 2000 MHz, ensuring fast, efficient, and high-quality data transmission. These cables feature double S/FTP shielding and support Power over Ethernet (PoE, PoE+, UPoE, 4PPoE) and HDBaseT. CAT 8.1 cables are available in various colors and lengths.

GHMT Certification for High Quality Standards
Transmission properties of patch cables (0.5 - 3.0 m) have been tested in a two-connector channel over a predefined transmission distance of 24 m according to Class I specifications up to 2 GHz, compliant with ANSI/TIA-568.2-D. Goobay also offers GHMT-certified keystone modules and installation cables (up to 100 m) for perfectly functioning CAT 8.1 cabling infrastructure.

Completely Plastic-Free Packaging
Goobay is phasing out unnecessary plastic packaging for its CAT 8.1 patch cables. Plastic bags are being replaced, and conventional plastic cable ties are substituted with durable paper cable ties.

Copper conductor (CU), AWG 22/1 (solid), halogen-free (LSZH). Certified by GHMT for transmission distances of 1x 24 m installation cable plus 2x 3 m patch cord in a 2-connector channel (8.1 Standard Class I, up to 2 GHz). Supports 25GBase-T and 40GBase-T, with 2000 MHz bandwidth. Features PiMF foil shielding per pair and overall S/FTP aluminum braid shielding. Low-smoke, halogen-free, and CPR compliant (Class Dca). Suitable for structured cabling in buildings.

15.8 mm width, 180° IDC termination, tool-less installation. Ideal for CAT 8.1 channel configuration, GHMT certified. Suitable for round cables with diameters from 5.0-8.5 mm (solid or stranded AWG 22/1 - 26/1 or AWG 22/7 - 26/7). For quick, tool-less mounting in patch panels, network outlets, or housings. Supports Power over Ethernet (PoE++, 4PPoE, Ultra PoE) according to IEEE802.3bt, and 25GBase-T/40GBase-T. Features 3 µin gold-plated contacts and STP shielding in a zinc die-cast housing for durability and optimal signal transmission. TIA 568A/B color coding.

CAT 8.1 RJ45 Connector (STP Shielded, Tool-less Installation)
For tool-less installation, suitable for round cables with diameters from 5.0-8.5 mm (solid or stranded AWG 22/1 - 26/1 or AWG 22/7 - 26/7). Enables quick network cable assembly by simply pressing the connector housing. Supports Power over Ethernet (PoE++, 4PPoE, Ultra PoE) according to IEEE802.3bt, and 25GBase-T/40GBase-T (backward compatible). Designed for transmission distances of 24 m for permanent link or 30 m for channel link (8.1 Standard Class I, up to 2 GHz). Ideal for creating custom-length network cables. Features 3 µin gold-plated contacts and STP shielding for durability and optimal signal transmission. RJ45 connectors are color-coded TIA 568A/B.
