Riding Safety
- Do not allow persons under 16 years of age or inexperienced riders to use the electric bicycle.
- Ride in non-motorized lanes and adhere to local speed limits.
- Transport persons or objects in accordance with legal regulations.
- Always wear an appropriate safety helmet and secure the chin strap.
- In rain or snow, braking distance increases; decelerate gradually and ride slowly. Avoid riding in heavy rain or storms if possible.
- Respect traffic rules and never ride under the influence of alcohol. Do not ride with only one hand or no hands on the handlebar.
- Wear bright, non-restrictive clothing. Wear low-heeled shoes or sports shoes.
On-Route Precautions
- Respect traffic rules for your safety and others'.
- Wear a safety helmet and take other safety precautions before riding.
- When starting, accelerate gradually to maintain control.
- In rain or snow, increase braking distance and ride cautiously to avoid slips and falls.
- Shift to a lower gear before parking to make the next ride easier.
Maintenance and Self-Check
- The electric bicycle is factory-tuned. Contact the manufacturer or supplier for any questions.
- Regularly check tire pressure.
- Periodically check main components: handlebar, stem, saddle, seatpost, front/rear axles, central axle, flywheel, chain, front/rear wheels. Ensure transmission components are flexible and normal. Tighten any loose nuts and bolts.
- Lubricate parts like axle bearings, steering group, and pedal bearings semi-annually with calcium-based grease (#3). Lubricate the chain, transmission cables, and footrests approximately every two months with #3 lubricant.
- Replace worn parts such as brake pads, chains, and tires at an authorized repair center using parts of the same model and specifications.
Motor Maintenance
- The motor base and terminal cover are sealed and should not be opened.
- Keep the motor clean and free from foreign material, corrosive liquids, or gases. Do not strike or heat the motor casing to avoid damage.
- The motor has an IPX5 water resistance rating. Do not wash with a high-pressure water jet or immerse in water. Water reaching the motor hub may cause short circuits.
Battery Maintenance
- Lithium batteries have high capacity, long life, and are lightweight. Their lifespan depends on usage. Avoid deep discharge and long-term storage without charging. Charge frequently.
- The first charge should be complete. Periodic charging is recommended every 6-8 hours, up to 12 hours.
- If the bike is stored for a long period, recharge the lithium battery monthly for over 2 hours. Do not leave it discharged, as this can cause irreversible damage.
- Danger: Dispose of used batteries at designated local government sites or authorized maintenance points, not by yourself.
- Warning: Do not place batteries near open flames or high-temperature heat sources. Do not dispose of batteries in fire or expose them to direct sunlight in hot weather.
