Camera Layout:
The camera features a Display Screen, Operation Panel (with Menu, DEL, OK, navigation buttons, and Power Switch), Battery Depot, Lock Hole, and various ports including TV out, 4x1.7mm DC in, card slot, and USB.
2. Camera Operation
2.1 Batteries/ Power Supply
The camera is powered by eight AA batteries (1.5V each). High-density, high-performance, rechargeable alkaline or NiMH batteries are recommended. When batteries are low, the camera will automatically shut down. A DC 6V/2A external power supply adapter (not included) can also be used.
2.2 SD Card Information
Insert the SD card into the camera before turning it on. The camera supports up to a 64GB capacity SD card and has no built-in internal memory. The camera will not function without a properly inserted SD card. Ensure the SD card is unlocked before inserting. Do not remove the SD card while the camera is on, as this may damage internal components. If experiencing issues, reformat the SD card using the camera's settings.
2.3 Camera Mode
- ON Mode: The camera captures pictures or videos based on motion detection or time intervals. The motion indicator LED (red) blinks for about 10 seconds after switching to ON, allowing for camera positioning.
- SETUP Mode: Allows customization of camera settings and playback of captured media on the LCD display.
- OFF Mode: Turns off the camera. A small amount of battery power may still be consumed. Remove batteries if the camera will not be used for an extended period.
2.4 Trigger Mode
- PIR Triggering: Default is ON. The camera is active only when motion is detected. If PIR sensitivity is set to OFF, the camera will not respond to motion.
- Timer Triggering: Default is OFF. When the timer interval is set to a non-zero value, the camera operates at preset intervals. To use timer triggering exclusively, set PIR sensitivity to OFF.
- PIR and Timer Triggering: Set PIR sensitivity (Low, Normal, High) based on the environment and set the Timer interval. The camera will capture media at preset intervals regardless of motion, and also when motion is detected.

3.5 Troubleshooting
PIR Detection Zone
The camera features a new, patented PIR with a detection range of up to 100ft in good environments. The PIR detection angle (α) is smaller than the Field of View (FOV) angle (β), which reduces the rate of empty pictures and captures most motions.
A diagram illustrates the comparison between the detection zone of a normal PIR and the new patented PIR. Another diagram shows the angles α (Detection Angle) and β (F.O.V Angle).
