Electrical Requirements
⚠ Electrical Shock Hazard
- Plug into a grounded 3 prong outlet.
- Do not remove ground prong.
- Do not use an adapter.
- Do not use an extension cord.
Failure to follow these instructions can result in death, fire, or electrical shock.
Before moving your refrigerator to its final location, ensure you have the proper electrical connection.
If the supply cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer, its service agent, or a similarly qualified person. Do not use a cord with cracks or abrasion damage.
Recommended Grounding Method: A 115 V, 60 Hz AC only 15 A or 20 A fused, grounded electrical supply is required. A separate circuit for the refrigerator and approved accessories is recommended. Use an outlet that cannot be turned off by a switch. Do not use an extension cord.
IMPORTANT: If this product is connected to a GFCI protected outlet, nuisance tripping may occur, resulting in loss of cooling. Food quality and flavor may be affected. If nuisance tripping occurs and food appears spoiled, dispose of the food.
NOTE: Before performing any installation, cleaning, or replacing a light bulb, turn cooling off or set the control to Off. For digital controls, press the minus sign until dashes appear. Disconnect the refrigerator from the electrical source. Reconnect and reset controls when finished. Refer to the "Quick Start Guide".

IMPORTANT: This appliance is intended for household and similar indoor use, including staff kitchens, farm houses, hotels, motels, and other residential or non-retail environments.
Ventilation: Allow 1/2" (1.25 cm) space on each side and at the top. Allow 1" (2.54 cm) space behind the refrigerator. Allow extra space at the back for ice maker water line connections. If installing next to a fixed wall, allow a minimum of 3 3/4" (9.5 cm) for door swing.
NOTE: For optimum performance and energy efficiency, the refrigerator should be used in a location where the ambient temperature ranges from 60°F (15°C) to 90°F (32°C). Avoid installing the refrigerator near heat sources like ovens or radiators.
